Nitrous or nitrus? Anyway, like the idea of elminating bias using ballons.

The effusion rates are different enough that the balloons, which provide decreasing pressure as they deflate, aren't giving you the same flow rates. A big syringe would help you deliver a more constant flow of each gas eliminating flow rate as a variable.

Would a decibal meter help measure at higher frequencies? I have seen apps used for decibal meters that seem to work. Lol I could see this possibly blowing out speakers if done right lol

If too loud of a high pitch for you dear viewer, reduce the resolution to 240p use the more aggressive audio compression from youtube, which almost completely removes sound above 14kHz

It really would have been worth it to rent a good microphone and a spectrum analyzer for this experiment, since the camera mic is both not designed for weird frequencies and is probably pretty highly processed for speech.

Made me wonder how different gases would react under vaccum. Can you bring some kind of gasses to a higher vaccum than air using the same equipment?

Or if you fill those ballon again and shove them in the vaccum chamber, i'm prety sure some gasses would expand noticibly more than others (aka the ballon would get bigger)

Would be great if you could record this and look at the waveform in Audacity. Then we could see the science and numbers (everybody loves numbers)

It's a bit hard to compare sound pitch if you just show all preparations in between and even change whistle from time to time. You definitely should add sound comparison with samples of sounds sorted from high to low pitches He - Air - Laughing Gas - Xe with dog whistle and the same with modified dog whistle. So the difference would become more clear to hear.
