Animation Update Released! (Patreon)

Today we are releasing a major update to game assets and features, which we've been calling the "Animation Update!"  In this build we animated all remaining backgrounds and added lots more polish to the game.  We also introduced three big new features, which we outline below!

This build doesn't feature too much new content (there is one new scene in Jessie's story line), so if you've recently played through everything, you may wish to wait until the next major build, which will feature Grace's Chapter 2.  But if you haven't gone through all the story lines yet, this is a good time to do so!  Be warned that saved games from previous builds may behave strangely in this version.

A full list of updates are in the changelog, attached, but here's a quick low-down on the new features!

Experiences:

This new page, under "Memories," lets you keep track of what endings you have reached and allows you to replay those epilogues.  From this page you can also see how many endings you haven't reached yet, how many easter eggs you have found, and how many achievements you have unlocked... which leads us to:

Achievements:

Changeling Tale now has achievements!  Currently there are six to unlock, and we will add more as the game is developed.  Lastly...

Cheat Code:

For our Beta Tester tier, we have a new reward: a cheat code to the game that unlocks all chapters and galleries!  Those of you in that tier can check out this post to find out how to enable it!

With this update, the game is really starting to look like the fully polished visual novel that we imagined back when we started this project, and we cannot thank you all enough for helping us realize this vision.  We hope you enjoy all the new bells and whistles in this update!
