Dear Prissy Flouncy Pink & Bouncy Patrons...

I had hoped to post a little update a day or two ago, but I was still brainstorming idea's & details for this image. I'm currently in the process of drawing the refined-linework for the image, as I've settled on an outfit for our Southern-Bimbo-Belle, but the character (and her look) felt like they lacked any personality and so I've had to come up with a little back-story for her, so in my mind I can justify implimenting some additional elements.

I would perhaps class this Doll's clothing-look as a little unconvential, originally it started off as a bathing suit and then I just kept adding to it... I think (as long as the doll can keep its hair dry) maybe it can still work as a bathing suit, even with the Fishnets & Fluff. ^_^

I hope everyone has a Wonderfully Pink & Fluffi Weekend! :D:D:D

I see you decided to use the hat I suggested and ringlets for the K@TDöLL. She's a purty lil' Belle of the southern beaches. Ain't no time for that frilly thang to be wading in water.

I did try Ringlets on the main character, but they didn't look right. If I'm honest with myself, I'm not overly keen on how they look on the doll, so I may end up changing the dolls hair. Maybe the Dolls Dominant just has it walk along the beaches looking 'purty' and paddling in the water, just as high as the platforms on its heels. ;)

I never been a fan of hats for women, as I prefer to see big hair in all its Glory. However I do find some hats appealing, specifically the style you have on the K@TDöLL. It's a very sophisticated and high class hat worn for formal occasions like weddings, charity events, even a funeral (with a frontal veil). I see a few of these large brim hats at the Kentucky Derby race as well. You did absolutely fantastic job decorating the top. The enormous bow and feather is excessively beautiful. As for ringlets, it's hard to showcase them properly in an illustration, unless the view is from behind, but under a hat is even more difficult. That being said, I really like how they look with this hat, as it gives bit a definite Southern vibe. Don't knock yourself, you really did a great job incorporating the ringlets with the hat. I can only hope the Southern Belle lives up to her purty K@TDöLL.

I've always felt hats have the potential to look good, although they can be strangely hard to draw on a character in a complimentary way, (atleast that's an issue I've always had)... :-s I also hope the Southern-Belle also manages to live up the the Purty Doll. :-s ^^
