"Pike" is just a way for us to track our release ! Module version v0.4.6 for FoundryVTT

Dear patrons !

Thank you all for the support, there are still many of you joining us every month ! 😊
We are humbled and will always be very grateful for your patronage. ❤️
A small welcome change to our module :
From this version onwards, we're very glad to say that it will be possible to have both the Free and Patreon version of our modules active at the same time in FoundryVTT and their Sequencer databases to be merged.
It has been bothering us for some time that we were indirectly 'forcing' people to continue their Patreon support if they wanted to try our new animations. It is no longer the case, thanks Wasp !
It means that if you leave Patreon, you'll still be able to benefit from the subsequent releases of our free module and still be able to enjoy your Patreon module.
It does not mean however that Automated Animations will be able to do the same just yet though. The structure needed for A-A is quite different and will need more thought. We'll try our best to help in that regard but it probably will take some time.
Automated Animations and Sequencer promotion
Let us take this opportunity to remind you that we are creating and providing you animated assets but we're not affiliated to Otigon nor to Wasp, the developers behind Automated Animations and Sequencer respectively.
They are both working on these modules on their free time for a long time now and if you would like to support them in continuing their development, you can do so there :
Otigon has a Patreon Page : https://www.patreon.com/otigon/posts
Wasp has a Ko-fi page : https://ko-fi.com/fantasycomputerworks
Any help would be greatly appreciated. We owe them a lot and they deserve some love !

As always, you can check the new assets by browsing through our Asset Viewer or read our Patchnotes.

Contents of the release

Throwables

Artificers, crazy inventors, cunning Goblins or just people that enjoy throwing bombs, potions or grenades...rejoice !
We have a lot of them incoming with this new release !

The texture for this map and the tokens are created by "Forgotten adventures". See their Patreon page for more !
Note : The animations for the throwables come without explosion so you can build your own crazy contraptions as you wish. We added a couple of macros to give an idea of how.

We hope you'll find many ways to increase the chaos that these adorable objects can bring into a game !
We've heard you, the missiles are coming, most likely in the second release of this month.

New Explosion

We modified an explosion from a Pierrick Picault Youtube tutorial to accomodate the top-down view with his blessing !
Pierrick Picault, for those who don't know, is one of the most amazing Blender artist out there, the genius behind P2Design, our Sensei. 🙇
You can find a lot of free tutorials on the P2Design Youtube channel and some of the best Blender courses available out there, which you can buy at P2Design and P2DesignAcademy.

Smoke Puffs

We've also added a few new smoke Puffs (ring and side) that can be used for characters taking off into the air or just moving at great speed, vanishing...
We can't wait for you to surprise us with some very creative visuals, as always !

Does Animated Assets work with Ripper's 3D Canvas?

JB2A

Nope, it's too complicated and not well suited for full 3D, sadly.
