December AND January 'thank you' STLs shared on Myminifactory! (Patreon)

So bit of a big post here! Most of the STL files for these releases are ready, and the ones left need a few tweaks but Fabio is on holiday, so I thought I'd release what I could to you :)

Video wise, I've been making a lot of progress on resin, its taken a lot of experimentation as resin is the bane of a crafter's existence, and many ideas had to be scrapped or reworked, but I'm pretty happy with the result!

More on that in another post 😅

All of these files (where ready) have been shared on MMF with those who supported during those months, but will appear in throwbacks in future months!
December
as you can see, December's release is half sewer STLs, half walls for the printable version of the system.

The bodies you see are corpses which are posed differently for floating face up or face down (as you ragdoll differently depending), and include an arrow which can be  glued into a 1mm hole you can drill pretty much anywhere (his back, his head...other terrain etc). I preferred this as I felt it gave you guys more agency over your creations :)

The semicircle grates are for the sloped wall build, and the larger grates are for the end of sewer flows. the open one is designed to work with a printable sewage waterfall that is still being perfected as we speak, though it's getting pretty close to done and looks pretty damn epic! The actual flow might be a part of a future release as it took a lot of work 😅

The end of sewer grates need 4x2mm and 2x2mm magnets for connections, and can have a small amount of wire in the top of the poles to allow minis to 'stepping stone' across with a magnetised base if they're feeling risky!

finally there are doors - what you dont see in the pic there is a half sized door to go with the half-walls :) this is a design I intend to take to foam as soon as I get a chance, as it gives a lot of flexibility in placing doors where you want...

January
January was a month we tried to get caught up a bit with, lots of very useful urban scatter terrain for city tiles and villages, including grates and wells for sewer/cistern connections.

the well roof can be magnetised with 2x4 (2mm wide) magnets, and the grates can be magnetised to walls too with 3x2! My plan is to put some black paper behind the grate for instant ventilation/sewer shafts higher up on walls :)

The noticeboard also has a variant with a 1mm hole, so you can use a snip of wire and 'pin' your own printed notices up in true modular fashion 😁
