Update, livestream and new shinies! (Patreon)

Hi guys!

So, shinies first. Sam (one of you guys) recently uploaded some 3d printable jigs for magnet placement in 10mm (UK) foam. He was going to do some 1/2" ones for the nice people who use that thickness too but hadn't quite got around to it in time for this video - so I made some myself :)

These should be printable on the plate on your resin printer of choice, there's one for floor tile magnets that can also be used for the floor tile connection magnets on wall tiles, and for the side magnet placement on wall tiles. The second one is for the top/bottom magnets on floor tiles.

I changed the design slightly from Sam's original, theory being that it being open like this lets it be used for several different tiles/orientations (walls, floors etc) as well as making sure that the foam being ever too slightly thick or the print being cured slightly too long and it shrinking wouldn't be a problem :)

I also extended out the floor tile side further to make it easier to keep it level and flat while punching...in theory. Works great for me!

I've uploaded them here, not sure if that's going to work but they're only small, so I'm hopeful. Let me know if something is off and I'll set up another way to access them.

In other news, I am most definitely burnt out, every little thing in this very basic video is taking twice as long as it should 😞 If you haven't experienced burnout yourself (I hadn't for a long time, I forgot what it feels like), believe me when I say you don't want to and it's important to take restful breaks. Horribly frustrating as that may be....and it is 😂

I'm aiming to complete this video at a sensible pace and with any luck, I'll be all better by the time I come back from holiday.

Speaking of which! I'm aiming for the next livestream to be on Sunday the 5th of September at 7pm BST, which is about a week after I come back, so hopefully there'll be plenty to talk about. Just thought I'd give you guys an early heads up!
