Hi Guys!

So, after many setbacks and a string of bad luck, I'm entering the final stretch with B-roll footage, after which there's only the VO, talking head, editing, YouTube upload stuff (thumbnail, SEO etc) and we'll be ready to go :)

If you didn't catch the sneak preview in the livestream, the next video is my take on modular hills - mainly, that hills don't go ON the landscape, they ARE the landscape!

There will be mention of how to do this on a smaller scale too, so don't worry too much about the size and storage...I may have gone overboard for the video 😅

The really cool thing is you can put them back to back flush with each other with the connections I've developed (Which will work for smaller hills too), which allows you to make awesome winding hilltops like the ones in those sweet helicopter shots from LOTR...

Annoyingly, I've having problems capturing the epic-ness of these hills on camera, mainly because they blend together when you don't have depth perception! I'm trying some new sweeping slo mo camera tricks to try and get around that, but try and bear that in mind when looking at the photos :)

Much work is still to be done, but I'm hoping to have this one to you guys soon-ish, after which work will begin on the next voted for video...

Holy shit, looking good man! Did you invent a clever storage way for them? (For people with limited storage, like moi.)

Storage wise they fit in custom foamcore storage boxes like the other grasslands, just with taller shelves (3 and 3/4 or 4" tall). There are options in the video for a less storage intense method, and I've already had more ideas for how to do the straight sections with a fraction of the storage, but that'll have to wait for a future video 😅

Never too late man, always gives me motivation when I'm mid project :)
