So yeah, while Bart was doing his thing inside with Ruth, Laura Powers arrived home after a long trip back to Springfield. I'm pretty sure Bart knows he would be in deep trouble if she found them, well... doing what they're doing right now.

He has to do something if he doesn't want everything to fall down to pieces for them.
