Hello Patrons,

We're pleased to follow-up on this month's Medieval Exo-Lord release, giving you a detailed look at all the multi-shell elements they've come with!

Multi-Shell Options:

In the images below, you can see that we've highlighted certain elements in bright orange, purple, blue, pink, yellow, and green (and you'll see similar images in many of our previous releases too!)

These colours mean that each highlighted element is actually a separate "shell" - a complete 3D object that it is possible to move, scale, interchange, or even remove entirely! Want to know how? We've got a few excellent text and video resources for you to check out;

Our Multi-Shell Beginner's Guide post

Sonic Sledgehammer's Video Tutorial using MeshMixer

And finally, an in-depth Blender Tutorial that covers advanced movement and manipulation of individual shells, as well as a whole lot more if you're interested!

Here are this month's Multi-shell elements:

Starting with our heads and helmets we've kept it fairly light and provided some Exo-Lord scaled facial hair options and very ostentatious ornamental wings for the Great Helms

The Leg sets are where we start getting some more striking options. Both sets, heavy and light, each have their loincloths (front and back) as optional elements, which has a massive effect on the silhouette of each miniature. Not only that, but all the rivets are optional as well, which makes the armour look sleeker if you choose to remove them all

The torsos and backpacks follow the same trend, giving you the ability to remove all the rivets if you so choose. Each of the reliquaries also have a ton of options, from pouches to purity seals, and skulls to scrolls! Try swapping different elements between the three to make your own unique relics!

The arms continue the theme of optional rivets for not only the armour, but the shields too! Then there's the reinforced banding on the corners of the heater shields, or the bracing crossbeams of the smaller square shields. Every arm has a light shoulder pad that is also replaceable or removable at your discretion

Weapons all feature removable hands in two different grip orientations, as well as the swords and war picks having optional technological elements

Finally, we have alternative shoulder pads that are compatible with all our previous arms, should you wish to make them more medieval, or as a replacement for the shelled pads on this month's arms!

That's everything to show for the Multi-Shells this month, but stay tuned for our next post that will reveal the Milestone unlocks we achieved; Kneeling Legs, and the Squad Support Weapon

Thank you all for your continued support,
-Team Anvil

Would you consider doing some helmets with open faces or the visors pulled up? Would be a nice way to add character without compromising on protection as much as the helmetless models.

Would it be possible to get the ability to separate the shield shell from the arm and leave the straps so we could add complete different shields? I'd love to be able to use these as steam knights for my Sludge army but the shields sadly just don't fit.
