Hello Patrons,

We're back with another post on this month's Gothic-Tech Horrors to give a detailed look at all the multi-shell elements we've included!

In the images below, you can see that we've highlighted certain elements in bright orange, purple, and green (and you'll see similar images in many of our previous releases too!)

These colours mean that each highlighted element is actually a separate "shell" - a complete 3D object that it is possible to move, scale, interchange, or even remove entirely! Want to know how? We've got a few excellent text and video resources for you to check out;

Sonic Sledgehammer's Video Tutorial using MeshMixer

And finally, an in-depth Blender Tutorial that covers advanced movement and manipulation of individual shells, as well as whole lot more if you're interested!

But with no further ado, here are this month's Multi-shell elements

Starting with this month's legs, we've kept the padded cloth tassets on the hips as separate shells, as well as the piping under the foot of the bonus digitigrade legs pose.

This "tactical rock" pose, and the kneeling pose for the regular legs were unlocked when we passed 1100 patrons! They'll be available to download very shortly, but we're going to need to test print them first, to ensure their reliability. Keep an eye on our Patreon feed and your emails for an update shortly.

Next up, we have the torsos. There are three different torso designs that each come with a distinct piece of neck armour, and integrated head. However, as you can see in the Multi-shell colours, all of these elements, as well as the rivets attaching them to the front of the torso, are completely interchangeable, and indeed, we've designed both the head and the armour to be completely optional!

The weapons are made of even more separate elements. We've kept not only the blade, pistol, or baton as optional, but each of the joints and the power cables too! This gives you total control over the posing and positioning of these mechanical parts, allowing you to swap out the weaponry for anything you wish and still have it be compatible with the Regiment's wrist joints, or fine-tune your preferred pose to be "just so".

The Squad Support Weapon milestone was also unlocked just before the end of the month, so we've also designed this long rifle with additional elements. The mono-pod is made up of several shells to allow its height to be modified as you wish. The Camera scope and cable is also an optional shell!

Finally, we have the modular sergeant figure. Shown here with the legs and torso together, the legs and torsos are in fact two completely separate printable parts. Much like the torsos, the heads are removable shells, that would fit any of the other head/neck shells from the regular infantry, or vice-versa!

We hope you'll find these options useful in customising your infantry, either within just this month's offering, or in combination with any of our other digital files!
