Inspired by the recent release of The Last of Us streaming series, Staffer Josh has created several scenes of the collapse of civilisation from a strange biological mutagen! Using our modular Modern Civilians bundle and some previous digital forge sets, he's depicted multiple vignettes showing the progression of the disease:

Scene #1: The beginning

A crowd of protesters gathers as the infected are discovered and taken away under armed guard.

Sets used: Modern Civilians, Modern Road & Sidewalk Bases & Scatter Terrain, Facility Containment Biohazard Team, and Amphibious Infantry Fighting Vehicle

Check out the Modern Road & Sidewalk Bases and Road Scatter Terrain used in these scenes - Available to purchase as STLs Now!

Scene #2: The Hunt for Patient Zero

A terrified civilian hides from a technician and her armed entourage, while a tentacled... thing ... breaches its containment.

Sets used: Modern Civilians, Mutant Horrors, Facility Containment Biohazard Team, Modern Zombies, and Modern Post-Apocalypse

Scene #3: Riots and Looting

As panic grips the population, many turn to mob mentality rules and begin hoarding supplies.

Sets used: Modern Civilians and Cyberpunk

Want to see more? Josh has a series planned out showing even more combinations of Modern Civilians and our other digital kits!

I love the links to products used - super helpful for someone who doesn’t have a huge backlog of Anvil stuff!

After seeing the scene and how good it looks, I feel like I'd be willing for there to be some kind of "terrain Month" where we get more pieces to build scenes with. Maybe with some bases added in. There is some fantastic terrain scattered around (Jungle fighters has some too, Zombies I believe, and the Hazmat one) but it'd be nice to have a "base" pack for building on.

Terrain is something we wont be doing in regular months packs routinely, because its often quite a lot of work for parts most people wont have a use for. We do enjoy working on it though, so its likely we will offer more terrain as add on packs or as expansions to the welcome pack :)
