Hello Patreons.

This project is made possible with your support, and your suggestions and feedback help guide our design process, so here is another Poll to help us pick some themes for some gaps in our schedule and for later in the year.

Here is what we have planned out so far (mostly based on the results of the last poll)

May : Drop Troops : Force Recon

June: D-Day American inspired assault troops and Bunker system

July : An option from the Poll

August Big Thing: APC to fit with the D-Day stuff or any of our Trench themed sets. Several build options will be supplied to suit different themes/games.

September: Alien/Xenos Bounty Hunters/conversion parts  OR an option from the Poll.

October : Vampire Hunters if confirmed.

November onward: Options from the Poll..

DETAILS ABOUT THE POLL OPTIONS:

Please take a few minutes to read through the information below before voting.

For each option, you have a simple Yes/No choice, to give us a clear guide.

For an idea to be considered we are usually looking for at least 70% support, and we will prioritise ideas with more "Yes" Votes.

--------------

Facility Containment Hazard Response Team

Near Future Sci-Fi special forces team with CQB assault gear and armoured bio-hazard suits.

Light Mech 2 : Diesel Powered

Based on the number of new sign-ups, the Light Mech was our most popular kit so far. This suggestion is for another mech with more of a Rivets/SteamPunk/Iron Harvest/Scythe vibe. All the parts would be cross-compatible with the elements from the first Mech.

Afterlife : The Unity Council (Unity Guard and Ajax)

We want to revisit some of our old Afterlife designs, rescaling to match our regiments/exo-lord ranges and making them modular. We can do this as a stand-alone project but they can be included in the Patreon if there is interest.

This option is for a month based around the Unity Guard Infantry, with an Ajax Heavy mech as a support element.

Afterlife:  Republic Grenadiers

Another option for a month is a set based around our Grenadier Heavy Infantry. This was consistently one of our best selling kits before the original version was withdrawn.

For this month, we would likely NOT include a "big thing" or terrain and instead focus on a wider range of poses and weapon options for the Grenadiers.

Above are the original sculpts - made from a mix of 3D printed/resin parts and hand sculpted miliput.  The new version would keep the bullpup heavy rifles but with a modular front end with a few different options.

Big Thing : The Drop Ship Split over 2 months?

Based on our experience with the Light Mech it would be a huge amount of work to design a Drop Ship in the same style, in a way that is easy and convenient to print on a resin printer.

This means that it's unfortunately not feasible to offer a Drop Ship for a single month subscription.

Would you support a Drop Ship being offered over 2 months (likely early in 2022)?  Or would you prefer 2 months of regular content instead?

  • The first month would include the main hull and one engine/wing design, with no interior detailing and limited weapon options.
  • The Second month would include a second engine/wing design and full interior detailing, crew and numerous weapon options/load outs and alternative parts.
  • This means you could back just one month and get useful parts, but would get more value from both months.

Vampire Hunters for October

For Halloween we want to do Vampire Hunters with STL shells/options to make the same set of models useable in either a steampunk/victorian/gothic OR a modern Blade/Underworld setting.  It is included in the Poll for Patrons to confirm or ask for something different.

CyberPunk 2 : The Corporation

Cyberpunk was a really fun month for the design team. This option is to expand that set of figures with a focus on dystopian corporate employees and security staff. CEO's, scientists, medics, private security/police etc, with some corporate lobby/office scatter terrain.

Tactical Wizards

The characters from Harry Potter with the gear from Rainbow Six..    Some patrons on our discord are very enthusiastic about this. I don't want to be the one to crush the dream so I am putting it the people to be settled one way or the other..

The Poll can be found here, Please only submit one response!

I love all of these ideas, but I can't possibly turn down some dieselpunk

Modular drop-ship *____* revised grenadiers *______*

Sikander

I think the specific Tactical Wizards idea is silly, but I'd be interested in seeing wizardly and other oddball options added to existing themes, similar to the Bikes and Bits release.

Esben Christiansen

When you do the Vampire Hunters, it would be nice to have some torsos with shoulder holsters for pistols and knives, both single and double. :)

anvildigitalforge

nothing wrong with voting yes to everything.. All helps.

Gabriel frost

Would really like to see some more post apocalyptic stuff

Gabriel frost

When you say vampire hunters are you talking fantasy or modern, modern would be great

Anonymous

What about romans or greeks ?

anvildigitalforge

To some extent we can do both by making more generic bodies and then specific heads and weapons which slant the model more modern or more fantasy.

Falco

Tactical Wizards sounds amazing! PLS do this

You could make the Drop Ship as a loyalty type reward. Like 6 months of continuous subscription gets you the drop ship file. That way you can work on it when ever you get time and release it at once. No pressure on your behalf but kicks out a really cool model.

Splitting the Dropship between Interior and Exterior parts sounds like a good idea. Some folk love painting bits that will be seldom seen and others do not.lol This would serve both camps and would mean you could get started on one before the release of the other (well, that of course depends on whether the interior parts are pivotal to the build structure, of course)

LOVE the idea of Rescaled, Modular Afterlife designs! The Grenadiers were my first ever Anvil Purchase, I painted them terribly 😅 so it would be nice to add a unit to my current army and do them some justice this time around 😁👍🏾

Afterlife and The Corporation - BIG YES! Otherwise thanks, but no thanks.

Anonymous

freaking love the idea of more hazmats!

Riley Sacdpraseuth

Yes. I had no idea this was a thing that was considered, but I love the art of this concept I've seen over the years.

Anonymous

i love a lot of these ideas. i found anvil industries because i was tracking down the marine council head pack so i am all for that stuff. id prefer a tank over a dropship personally. keep up the good work.

Anonymous

Would love some maintainers, crew, engineers, etc.

Anonymous

Obviously I have my favorites, but I love y'alls work. Whatever gets picked I'll still be happy. Am rooting for the witch hunters though.

Northern Light

For the Drop Ship if possible please consider two cut versions, one for "normal" and one for mid size printers ( 8,9" maschines)

RenMomo

I'm just excited to have figures along the lines of the game "tactical breach wizards"

Mike Michaels

How are the tactical wizards doing in the poll?

Bram Dierckx

Love the look of the Unity Council.

Lockark

I hope the tactical Wizards are doing well in the poll. They would make brilliant Mystics and Psionicists in Stargrave

Anonymous

That's something I hadn't though of. Cool idea. I've been looking at making some Stargrave crews...

anvildigitalforge

If we get to it, it will be designed so that the cuts are invisible when assembled, and work just as well on any size machine :)

I had to google "Tactical Wizards" before voting. Couldn't have voted for them harder or faster after finding out how amazing the idea is :D

Anonymous

So stoked for vampire hunters, Please watch Vampire hunter D bloodlust, its a wonderful mashup of all those genres.

Pumped for the afterlife stuff! Was so sad when y’all had to close it down... btw do y’all have a pdf of the rules that I could pick up?
