It bothered me that I could not find a consistent coloration style over the last weeks which also safe me the trouble to pick the right values for every color while maintain a good contrast of dark and light. I ultimately decided to go back to the stronger sepia tones since my older style during the first chapter was inspired by the concept art of  Marcos Mateu-Metre. The only two main differences in comparison to the older pages are the usage of a paper-like canvas for the background the limitation of four colors as basis (namely white, yellow, brown and black) and a balanced depiction of high-detailed and more subtle indicating lineart.

I remember that I lightened the colors up after the first chapter since the test prints turned out to dark. However since I really loved Mateu-Metre's work and concluded that the grey background effectively supports a feel of depth I want to give this style a try again. In the end it would also hopefully help me to get faster with the page production.
