Oooh the nostalgia, it's been a while since I watched this and it looks so good for being 30 years old!!! A common mistake people make is think this was directed by Tim Burton because it was based on one of his poems and drawings, but he actually produced it and the director was Henry Selick. I don't know if you've seen Klaus (2019) but if not I highly recommend it, it's one of my "recent" favorite Christmas movies.

Danny Elfman, who is Jack’s voice, was the lead singer for Oingo Boingo. He is also an amazing composer and producer, with close to 150 film scores. He composed the music for most of Tim Burton’s films (including the Simpsons), the 1989 Batman, plus so so many huge films between the 1990’s to now. You’ll be surprised with how many you’ve heard and will probably be able to recognize his style after listening to some soundtracks. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000384/

Oo I’m excited to see your reaction to this! From a Brit who loves Christmas - if you haven’t seen ‘Nativity!’ it’s a British Christmas classic, I recommend it for next Christmas (especially for the music)

I have watched this in Halloween for years and that’s what this movie is for me now lol it’s a timeless classic 🙌🏼 btw yes it was a roulette, but not the Russian one because that’s the one with the gun 😅
