OMG!!!!!! I'M LITERALLY SHAKING AAAAHHHH

FlyUshkiFly

Ooooooooh! Never even imagined I'd get to watch this with you! 😍💜 1st watch!

Maya

I’m surprised you’re doing it, but it’s a nice surprise. (although i wish you’d see all the documentaries that came before)

dee

im really excited about this!! i think this is also a great documentary to watch in the beginning as it goes from their debut until more recent time <3

Ayda Lucero Fleck

8 episodes: 2 dropped 12/20 & 1 episode ea. Wed thereafter💜

Mariana

I love watching your army jpurney so I would watch you react to any of their content. The book Beyond The Story has a similar format where it mixes facts with pieces of interviews they did with the members for the book. I can’t help but feel like this docu-series is almost an adaptation of that book (based on the 2 first episodes at least). So excited to continue watching these with you!

Nattie Dior ⁷

Absolutely love that you're watching this, but I'm going to grab you by both of your arms and shake you until you watch Jhope in the box (hobi's documentary)

Yeontan™️

i’m so happy you decided to watch this😩💜😭

FlyUshkiFly

"... feel like this docu-series is almost an adaptation of that book..." This is exactly what I was thinking!

FlyUshkiFly

I still haven't watched that either! SUGA's as well. 🥴 And now I hear Jimin will have one? So they likely have one for each member. 😅

Mariana

Jimin's is already out. And Michael reacted to SUGA's so you can find it somewhere here on his Patreon

Nattie Dior ⁷

No, they had a three documentary deal with Disney+. That and the live LA concert That's why Jimins is on Weverse and not Disney and it's just them maybe we will get RM and V and JK when they get back 🤞🏾

Alicia Larner

great watch! I do recommend watching the bts series and films on youtube too, they add a little more context to certain eras/parts of this doc that may not be fully covered :)

Barbi Duarte

I wasn’t expecting this ! I love it thank you

Yenny Fuentes

I needed this tonight!

I'm so happy you're reacting to this! You really should watch the other BTS documentaries too. And don't worry about being quiet, I personaly didn't notice anything different from your other vids lol, it's great seeing your journey with the boys and the documentaries are one of my favorites parts. Really looking foward to episode 2.

Yay! I'm so happy you're watching this! So far it's a great overview of their career and I'm loving the fact that the members are narrating it themselves. It's pretty fast paced, but I guess that's what happens when you're trying to cover 10+ years in only 8 half-hour episodes!

Not having Jimin as part of BTS, I agree, is unthinkable. He has strengths and talents that none of the others have, and I'm so glad there were members and staff that fought for him 💜 I also agree that it's crazy to hear that Jung Kook lacked confidence in the beginning, but you can still hear vestiges of that in the way he speaks about his performances even today. I think about how he said on Suchwita that his dream is to think he's done really well. I feel like he's such a perfectionist and still really hard on himself, and it's something all the members talk about with him. Can't wait to watch the next episode with you. Have tissue on hand 🚨

Ophelia

I feel like that is one of the true strengths of BTS. Truly every member matters and contributes so much to the group. That's what differs them from other groups.

Teri Kinney-Bishop

💜💜💜 Thank you Michael! I watch your BTS content, of course… but I also watch you talk about other talented or iconic performers. l love to hear the break down / interpretation of those too. You are in my top three people to watch! I love listening to you dig deep on their stuff but I also love when you just vibe to it! You have a great intuition to the music. 💜💜💜 thank you for spending this much time on this content!

Yukari

I made the mistake of watching the first two episodes on my flight from NZ to Australia. I was trying to control my tears. Lol. And I saw the notification of your reaction right after I landed in Sydney from Melbourne today so I watched your reaction during the cab ride to our hotel! lol. I’m so glad you’re doing this series. Boys are so honest about what they were feeling and I’m just grateful they’ve always had each other to lean on! That whole Hobi birthday call is a must watch! Talk about tears! Look forward to the next! 💜 I don’t celebrate Christmas but I do enjoy Christmas music and I did save your Christmas playlist! I’m so glad you have V on it!

Jimin's doc on weverse is a bit different than the hobi or yoongi doc . You really get to see how they created his FACE album . They really just stayed in pdogg house and just brainstorm ideas. It's pretty interesting to see how they came up with the beat or lyrics.

It is interesting hearing you say that their impatience made them stand out. I think the way they used that impatience is important. They turned it into drive. Whereas I see a lot of kpop groups now (or I guess it's really their companies and their fans) who are impatient in a way that can be detrimental. They see that BTS has grammy noms after eight years in the industry and now they want a group with one year of experience to also get grammy noms when they haven't even made it on the billboard charts yet. They are also impatient but instead of using it to push forward harder, they want to cut corners or use media play. Again this is likely more on the companies and fans than the groups themselves, but I think it's important to acknowledge that impatience can be harmful if not used in right ways.

mammalay

It's surreal watching this when I miss them so much. I am holding back on watching this myself so I would just watch this with you 💜.

This was such an amazing surprise. I watched both episodes that got released Yesterday and was really happy to see you had reacted to the first one! Their docuseries are always great and I recommend you watch the other ones once this one is finished. Usually, each one presents backstage stories and information about their career during the World tours they did (Burn the Stage is from the Wings tour of 2017, Bring the Soul is about the Love Yourself Tour of 2018 and Break the Silence is about the Love Yourself - Speak Yourself Tour from 2019). All of them are really interesting, bring a lot of information of what was going on and what they were dealing with at the time but it shows a lot of insight of the members, their thoughts and struggles. I do think you will like the docuseries a lot.

Rianne R

Excited to watch these with you and I hope you get the chance to watch all the other documentaries if you haven't already! :)

2024-01-13 11:01:16 what a good surprise! I hope you can continue with the other episodes, it is always a pleasure to re-watch bangtan content with you. On the other hand, I have no problem with you not even talking while watching the episode, I simply like the company and the comments between and at the end.

HOW DID I MISS THIS

Larry

few things for context which i think are interesting, during hyyh era bc the company going through financial troubles, in the Run MV they used the managers cars to cut budget costs and things like that. Also V was a surprise member he wasnt in any promo and was only revealed at their debut. Suga and RM were both underground rappers before BTS, and like they said bts was meant to be a hiphop group. Supreme Boi, was featured on Cypher pt3 was orginally a member also but decided become a producer of theirs instead. (think they have beef w him now and he left). Jhope was also not originally a rapper and was practically all new to it when he joined, idk if he was meant to be a vocalist or just hired for dance originally bc he was a street dancer. Jin was recruited when a Bighit manager saw him on the bus and wanted him to audition just for his looks lol. V was the same, went with his friend who was auditioning to support but they liked Vs looks and asked him t try out. Suga at one point early on was hit by a car and had his left shoulder crushed, and didnt tell anyone fearing hed be kicked from the group if he wasnt able to practice, so he danced still the entire time, he only recently had surgery to repair all the damage from that a couple years ago. Jimin did contemporary dance and ballet before bts which if u get the chance theres a few solo choreos of his for his solo songs which show that its beautiful.
