I'm not at all an expert in these things, but if I had to take a guess, it seems to me like the audio was being poorly mixed for the BTS AMA performance. As in, their backing track was fairly high and some of the mics were not loud enough (you can hear that espcially with RM's parts that his mic audio for his live vocals was really low compared to the backing track). Some of the other guys' audio seemed okay, so I'm not sure if the techs were attempting to remedy the situation while it was happening live or what. And yeah, if you ever watch the official Bangtan Bomb/Vlog of the behind-the-scenes at the AMAs, the boys say they were really nervous! But they killed it of course! Also, JK has a few other GCF films too! He went through a phase where he was making them somewhat regularly when they would travel, but there hasn't been one in a while :(

Michael, if you ever decide to watch one of the bts shows would you consider doing a poll for which one you watch? Dear everyone else, Will you take a moment to look into your hearts to see that bon voyage season 4 is the best show/season to vote for if we can only choose one. Love, an army that just wants to relive that trip with someone that has never seen it before and wants to pretend like she’s in New Zealand herself. 🤣🤣 Haha sorry y’all it’s just feeling more and more like fall and I always get the urge to watch it around this time of year.

I find that American award shows struggle with audio, because of how loud the crowds are when BTS performs - so they're trying to get the crowd noise out of the mics, but end up messing up the audio mix.

omg NCT is one of my favs I’m so sad u didn’t watch the whole thing 😭 nah but u should get into them on ur own time if u want they’re amazing :)) they’re kinda known to be out of the box for their title tracks but so so talented ( SM things iykyk) and eat dowwnnn on bside vocals

I’m no expert but my guess on the AMA audio was that they were trying to mask the noise from the crowd too much (US TV is just not used to fanchants and ARMY was loud that day) and as an effect, messed up the audio from the stage as well. If you watch fancams from that day, audio is much better.

I think it’s better if he watches them in the right order to get to know them more and to see the growth. Jumping right into bv4 will probably make him have a lot of questions and he will have missed a lot from the previous seasons 😕

I do agree it’s best to go in order for sure, but that’s a lot of content that I’m not sure he’d be able to get to it all. So this is just hopes with keeping that in mind.

so glad you were introduced to NCT 127! They're from the same company as SHINee/Red Velvet/Baekhyun/EXO (I don't remember rn if you ever reacted to exo tbh) but SM is known for their amazing vocalists and NCT is no different! Taeil and Doyoung are my personal faves, and Haechan has such a unique voice! Also, a little fun and random fact, Jaehyun is one of Jungkook's best friends! I had the pleasure of interviewing them earlier this year and can also say they're all total sweethearts and so much fun! Hope you get to listen to more of their stuff in the future (and maybe eventually dive into the entire NCT journey with all its 6 units and 26 members lol
