Glee is actually a really good show, they explore sexuality a lot on the show. The music in the show was also amazing. But glee does also have it moments where it's like you hate it, but love it at the same time

I think the insane amount of gay jokes in Glee is because the creator, Ryan Murphy, is gay. Then again, they say some off the wall shit anyway!! Lol

Glee is my all time favorite show, and helped me a lot coming to terms with my sexuality and how to express myself. I think it represented that for a lot of people. It definitely has its moments where you're like "why do I like this show?" But the music is so good and I continue to quote this show daily and listen to the music all the time!

I don’t know, I think that video does a disservice to Suga! And for everyone of those moments that shows him distant and aloof, you can find plenty more that shows him being goofy, funny, AND, affectionate! Yeah, not nearly as much PDA as some of the others, but still, he’s not totally anti social. He loves the other members and he loves Army, and he shows it plenty. 💜

Glee of course has it moments as you saw, but truthfully for the time it was considered progressive in a lot of ways, especially for the LGBTQ community, but also for teen moms, blended families where parents get remarried, they had a disabled character (even if that was handled in poor taste sometimes too), and more! i would LOVE for you to react to it! and yes the music is in every episode and very good!

The choreography in the covers BTS did are from the actual choreography of the original artists. Maybe some embellishments but largely stayed true to the original. So good.

Glee is one of my favourite guilty pleasure shows. Yes there are some things that hasn’t aged well but what does nowadays? I think it is one of the only musical shows where the music covers were consistently really popular. There are so many talented people on the show too.

Girl in Red was actually one of Taylor’s openers for the eras tour! Taylor even mentioned that her album “If I could make it go quiet” was one of her most played albums of 2021. Girl in Red first started getting recognition from the lgbtq+ community when she released “We fell in love in october” and has since only gotten bigger and bigger. I highly recommend checking out her debut album!

although glee is for sure a product of its time, it is SUCH a fun show to watch. i think it's kind of hard to understand how funny it is just from compilations of clips like this, because the humour is very context-based. for instance with that last clip, the boy that got pushed was not from mexico, but from ireland and he has a really string irish accent, or the clip about that lady asking if the baby was black is bc the pregnant lady's husband is white, which means she would've cheated on her husband and wouldn't be able to get away with it, etc. i really implore you to watch it, bc it is just so random and hilarious, but also deals with some serious topics and storylines.

Yessss I would die for your Glee reactions!! I've run out of friends to force to watch it so I would love to see your thoughts. It's off the wall and satire but it also has some AMAZING moments (The Quarterback episode immediately comes to mind) where you really get to see these actors shine and of course they're all amazing singers. Watching the vocals evolve throughout the show is pretty cool as well!!

late watch to this but shoutout yeontan for asking army for suggestions :) wanted to say that the perfect man perfomance was so iconic that it established fan cams as the norm for all Kpop idols, Jimin was so magnetic that the fan cam of his went viral and now its common practice that the official camera crew will film a normal take and fan cam focused releases for each member (fan cams were still a thing before Jimin, however it wasnt common practice for the company to produce them as it is now - as the name suggest it was initially just fans filming and uploading.) also that BIGBANG performance was so goooood, got me missing them now. i grew up with this group so close to my heart (look forward to TOP acting in squid game 2 though)

I'm so glad you reacted to some Glee moments! I never get tired of saying how funny this show can be, but also how important it was for a whole generation back in the day. It's ironic, it's camp and many times very inappropriate, but it also touches on so many delicate and important topics. Really hope you'll consider watching it eventually
