What you said about Michelle Yeoh at the beginning also applies to Ke Huy Quan. I had not seen any of his other work and I'm so glad this movie introduced me to him and brought him (back) into wide cultural consciousness and appreciation. And I'm also super excited about Stephanie Hsu, who deserved more appreciation and awards for her acting in this role than she got!

Apologies got multiple comments, but you mentioned Crazy Rich Asians and that movie was apparently the movie that got Key Huy Quan to decide to start to act again since Indiana Jones. He's the scene stealing star in this and that Oscar was my favourite and then she won and then the movie won Best Picture and I cried.

i LOVED this movie and waymond so much. it is a hard but extremely rewarding choice to fight with kindness. i was one of the people who watched this movie with no idea what i was getting into - ive never been so simultaneously delighted and emotionally wrecked when watching a movie and i think that was the point, and i loved watching them sweep the oscars! so satisfying to see an original film sweep when so much of what we get now is remakes. so much fun to see your reaction!!

i love this movie so much just having the idea that you can do anything so do everything lights my soul up. And making a movie about love and regret and choices and family and depression and acceptance inside a wacky si-fi action comedy its on a level not done i am sad the actor who played Joy didn't win a Oscar but so glad Michelle and the actor who plays Waymond did.

First time re-watching this amazing movie and still cried by the end. Also I noticed how at the tax office (or however that's called) where she tried to justify every expense saying she has several different professions, she technically has because the multiverse and all those were possible paths she didn't take.
