2023-06-08 17:58:57 i agree, these two episodes focus only on the build up and i love it, it makes me more excited for the next episodes. the first (kind of) offical titan transformation from eren gives me goosebumps, it is so epic! but i will never forgive him for doing mikasa like that oh my god, he needs to chill out for real 😭 but they both care about each other deeply! they just show it in different ways. but i agree with you that eren should not take his anger out on mikasa all the time, she is the real one for sticking out with him. and seeing a little bit of armins growth made me so proud of him, i am so happy he realized his own worth in something. and yes, we have seen pyxis at the beginning of this whole arc! he is the real one

I feel like in terms of Eren yelling at Mikasa recently. It's mainly Eren pushing back on Mikasa wanting to protect him. I see it as Eren not wanting to feel weak ever again. So when Mikasa pushes to be by his side and protect him, perhaps that makes him feel like she perceives him as someone in need of protecting, which would touch a nerve for him. All this to say I think he's mainly lashing out at Mikasa possibly perceiving him to be weak and in need of protecting.
