Does anyone know if the opening (before the intro music) and ending parts of the episodes includes spoillers?

The openings don’t as far as I remember! And as long as you don’t watch anything after the screen says ‘preview’ it’s not anything too spoiler-y. I’ve only watched all the way thru once tho so everyone feel free to correct me🤣

I've seen people skip the openings since they tend to have different scenes from the season, however i feel that if you don't dissect every frame you won't get spoiled. On my first watch there was so much going on that I couldn't even figure out what they were showing :))

Also just wanna let you know I did the same thing when it came to dub v sub! I feel like it would have been much harder for me personally to follow the story with sub the first time around, especially since I don’t watch a lot of foreign cinema and aren’t used to having to pay attention to all that at once😅. As far as dubs go, AoT is pretty stellar (at least comparatively- most are just cringe lol)

My boyfriend highly recommended me not to ever watch the intro of season 3 because it had a major spoiler of something that happened quite late in the season. But in general I do feel all of the seasons' openings include spoilery scenes. I guess it depends on how much you'd consider them as a spoiler

personally as long as i didn’t really pay much attention to the ops and eds i never noticed anything lol. obv since i’m caught up now i notice things but idk. it’s up to you !! id recommend still listening tho bc i love seeing people’s reactions to the music in this anime lol

I think the sub of this show is a 10/10 & the dub is a 9.5. I totally understand your decision, you’d miss some things having to read along especially with quicker dialogue scenes. Also love how the build the characters and story the first few episodes!

They’re both blonde so I was confused first time around too but the blonde guy that gotten eaten wasn’t Reiner🤣 RIP Thomas your sideburns will be missed

I know it's your choice but I still heavily recommend the sub because I think the voice acting in a lot of emotional moments throughout the series sounds better in sub. The range and emotions in the Japanese voices is so good and I feel that the dub does not deliver as well on those emotions.

Idk about everyone else but I always either skip the intros or just listen to the music and look away because there's usually spoilers. Most animes do that.
