You should also listen to the After School ep she released after K-12. It's not about the Crybaby character, but rather about herself. I feel like that ep sonically is a bridge between the past Crybaby era and this new evolved era we are in right now!

The detail I really love in this movie is that every time Melanie changed her hairstyle, it meant they were all in the next year of school. Also, from what I remember, Melanie's plan was to burn down the school, but due to being short on budget, she had to change the ending. Hence, during the end credits, the song Fire Drill is playing! I wish we could have seen how she imagined the ending with that song in mind, but the movie is still amazing anyways!

I’m a bit behind because I had to watch this in little bits over a few days, but wow this was freaking amazing. I figured it’d be good and unique, but I didn’t expect just how much. Have you ever seen those sassy cross stitches before? Like they’re all flowery and look like the cross stitch hanging up on your grandma’s walls growing up but it says something like ‘please don’t summon demons in the bathroom’ or something with cussing. Anyways, that’s the energy this entire movie gave. I love the contrast of that type of things so much.
