I only started watching this show because you were, didn't think it was gonna be my thing but now I'm obsessed. I've already seen these episodes, I couldn't wait, I got so impatient actually that I started watching the cut scenes of the second game already as someone who has never played it.

I was waiting for your reactions to these episodes! :) Especially the last one! I liked episode 7, but I felt the flashback was too long, maybe the pace of it, because I definitely didn't feel episode 3 was too long, it flew! Anyway episode 8 is one of the best, and there are a lot of them in this show, is so good!! Bella keeps being incredible! And Pedro is amazing too, how hurt and all, he does everything to get to her!! And that last scene, wow! Love love love this show! I'm not ready for season 1 to be over! :(

Also, the companion podcast for this show has the showrunners mention that they used a mall before it got demolished. oh i did not realize that! thanks for letting me know - i looked it up and they apparently just do not care as far as the pronouns go, and are more concerned with not being referred to as "a young woman" or "lady". the way they talk about their understanding of gender was so interesting to read

These two episodes are probably my favorites so far. I don’t understand how people didn’t like 7. My only complaint before was that there wasn’t enough background info on Ellie, and I got exactly what I wanted. Episode 8 left le speechless. Bella Ramsey is a FORCE.

for the penicillin in ep8 it is definitely not where you put it haha it would need to go into a big muscle like the thigh/butt area, since it is not advisable to inject it into a vein as you'd usually do with most antibiotics

I really enjoyed Episode 7 and I think the low rating is likely mostly due to anti-gayness and the specific kind of misogyny directed toward teen girls.
