yes please watch hobipalooza!!

emmie jeans

I just watched this concert in cinemas in 4dx the other day, and it was such a fantastic experience. It felt like I was really there. Also their voices with the good quality footage in cinemas are insane. Like damn they sound good here, but with the crisp audio quality I was absolutely mesmerised.

Nanci B. Kuykendall

The silliest thing about the media drama over them "breaking up to pursue solo careers" is that they have ALWAYS done solo projects, from the start of their careers. RM and Suga had solo work before they were BTS, and continued after they were in BTS. They were the first two to put out mixtapes as well. All of them have done collabs and OSTs and solo singles and then RM, Suga and j-hope did more mixtape albums. There were 5 solo albums out before this break even started. This is not even a new thing. What's new is that they have to take a break from group activities to do their military service. But we still got The Planet and Take Two after this, and all the Festa videos and so on. I just last week saw YET ANOTHER hysterical article quoting Namjoon's recent livestream where he talked about coming back together after they finish their service and the article said they had "Disbanded" and that now a "Reunion" was "Confirmed!" by RM, as if they are a former band talking about a reunion.

jinsbread

WAITT u watched the concert too OMGGDJSJFJS

Desi Jones

YES IM SO EXCITED!!!!

Amber

yes, SUGA's shirt says "the earth is flat. didn't you know that?" it's from a line of vetements clothing that was satirical social commentary and i love that for him because this is absolutely yoongi's type of humor lol

Mariana

WHAT!? OMG OMG LET'S GET IT!!!

BtsOT79798

Am I rewatching this concert again in the same day? Maybe. Do I care? Nope

Tati_Mo

THIS IS SO UNEXPECTED!! IM SO EXCITED!!

TSO 아포방포

I’m dying!! “Is Jungkook really out here looking like Aladdin?” I love it! Even better than Aladdin Michael!! Haha!! Just got started on your reaction but it’s going to emotional I can tell. I’ve seen this concert many times and it’s great every time!

BtsOT79798

A lot of the props in the yet you come music video that played in the begining were from older bts music videos like the truck, swings, and the bus which is from their debut mv. It calls back to the message in the song that they’re going back to square one in this new chapter in their lives especially considering the news about the Korean military and that they each have to go when it’s their turn.. Jin has already started his military service I believe

Venita Morse

I am not able to watch this right now. But as soon as I am able I am watching this! I have lost count of how many times I have seen this concert...haha can't wait to see your reaction!💜

ellie

oh my god the excitement i felt when i saw this

EB

Omg I just saw this was uploaded and my brain glitched. So excited to watch this!!!

EB

“That number’s gotta mean something, right?” Army has been trying to figure this out for YEARS. Every comeback we try to make the train car make sense. Every. Comeback. For. Years.

TSO 아포방포

(Hobi changed his lyrics for the concert in Cypher, but I don’t believe that was reflected in this particular video) We would have to find one with RT subtitles or the translation. Maybe someone else has that?

Yeontan™️

!!!!!!!!!! OH. MY. GOD. I didn‘t even click on it yet but you already made my day

Michel

SCREAMING CRYING THANK U SO MUCH FOR THIS

emmie jeans

OMG YES THANK YOU ILY IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS AGAIN AND TRY NOT TO CRY AND SCREAM

Kathleen Mangum

Nicely done, Sir. You truly must, must experience Hobipaloosa. It was Epic! I will gladly watch it for the 100th time to see your reaction to Jack in the Box with Live Band. Busan used most of Hobi’s band especially the music director Asaf. Asaf had to step in to play bass in Chicago for Matt the bass player in Busan. Your reaction to JITB did it justice. Hobi live will cement your perception of his talent. All 7 were in top form and the nods to their vocals while dancing, head banging and rapping-stellar. Thank you for doing this so satisfying concert. 💜🫶

ellie

im so happy i got to watch this with you, rm is usually the one who speaks last and makes everyone cry so im glad he didn’t this time because spring day destroyed me enough. and i feel like before hobipallooza you should listen to his first mixtape hope world

Mariana

Michael I had such a blast rewatching this concert with you, thank you so much for this amazing surprise!! Please, pleaaaase do Hobipalooza. I would recommend, if you want, for you to check out J-Hope's first mixtape (Hope World) before, for a better enjoyment of it. I feel the need to let you know that Jimin was able to be there for J-Hope, he watched his performance on the side of the stage and Hobi said he was such a light to have when his feelings were all over the place. BangtanTV (official BTS youtube channel) uploaded the full performance but unfortunately it doesn't have subtitles, so I'm leaving 2 links to a channel that added them (they're 2 links because they uploaded in 2 parts) Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDhHGIYY5HY Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ler3CbM9aoI Anyway, don't know if you knew this but this Busan concert was completely FREE, and the whole city of Busan had several activities going around to celebrate the concert. I always get emotional when I see this performance of Young Forever followed by For Youth, tears just flow every time. Seeing that Run BTS choreo had us all in shambles, it's so amazing! The livestream fell after the 3rd song and it took everyone a while to find other sources to keep watching the concert, so I didn't get to see that Hyundai android dogs commercial LOL, you had me cracking up with how confused you looked through it. Also, the members tend to do lives after their concerts (not always but the percentage is more than 50% of the time) This time were J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, and V just hanging out eating Ramen and talking to us, it's so heartwarming to have those moments after such a rollercoaster of emotions. Again thank you so much for this, I hope you have a great weekend. Purple you!!💜

Erica

SO happy you did this!!! and to answer your question: YES I absolutely would love to see Hobipalooza

EB

Yes, please, please, PLEASE watch Hobipalooza! It’s so so good. It’s a little over an hour and I would recommend watching the Welive that Hobi and Jimin did afterward. It seems like Hobi really had a hard time mentally going through the whole creative process (and I imagine with all the BS the media was putting out around the time regarding the group focusing on solo activities). He seemed to be in a dark place emotionally, wasn’t really eating a lot, and he and Jimin talk a bit about that and how thankful Hobi was to have Jimin fly all the way to Chicago to support him. I just love the way they support each other and there’s no egos that get in the way. So glad you enjoyed the Busan concert! Also, in case you missed it - Jungkook will be performing at the World Cup opening ceremony and is releasing a new song on Sunday!

Kasapo Mwanza

YES YES YES TO HOBIPALOOZA!!!!! Part1 https://youtu.be/BDhHGIYY5HY Part2 https://youtu.be/ler3CbM9aoI These are the best videos out there and they have captions. This is a trusted army channel as far as caption accuracy.. You are going to love this!!! Can’t wait.

Kasapo Mwanza

Like other people have mentioned, I also recommend watching the Vlive hobi did with Jimin immediately after the performance..it is very insightful…its only about 30min long but you definitely have to check it out!!! You won’t regret that you did… https://youtu.be/-yre1b7EXGc

Yeontan™️

u gotta see hobipalooza! he let it all out on stage and showed rap, dance, vocals and charisma to the MAX… even locals who watched him for the first time just bc he was a headliner were praising him on social media. he represented himself and the team with massive energy, great choreo and sincerity put into every song. and the crowd was lit too omg I was shocked at how many sang along. but then again army‘s always show out for them. so yea it was honestly one of the best things that happened this year and i would love to hear your thoughts on it all! jimin was also there to support him and he also had the time of his life lmao must be nice to stan one of your best friends

Aishwarya Majumdar

"assuming the livestream was crystal clear" is so funny because it straight up crashed after 10-15 minutes for everyone T___T regardless, so fun re-experiencing it with you!! You must watch Hobipalooza, only because I think you'll have an absolute blast!! :) You might want to listen to his first mixtape Hopeworld first, but it's great with or without, of course

Raven

AAAAAH YES ITS SO GOOD

fairynamu

PLEASEEEEEEEEEE check out hobipallooza!! they uploaded the full thing on BANGTANTV

stayalexa

I watch all the concert now with you and enjoy it so much. Love your reactions, you’re so real.

TrashBB

Actually, Suga is a cat and Jimin is a baby chick. <3

Lotta

Thank you!! I would love to see you react to hobipalooza!

Hailey Lee

YES TO HOBIPALOOZA, but I think you should listen to jhope’s mixtape before watching hobipalooza to get the full experience. A lot of the setlist is from his first mixtape. But either way, jhope murdered that stage

Jelena

Definitely check out Hobipalooza! <3

PamTan

What kind of question is that?! OF COURSE YOU NEED TO CHECK HOBIPALOOZA. It is amazing! You are going to love it, all 7 of them are great artists AND performers. I’m so glad you were finally able to see their dynamic interaction with ARMY, they always do that in every concert. You can check PERMISSION TO DANCE in Disney+ too. Can’t wait for the albums review. Also not sure if you reacted to the Astronaut live with Coldplay, if you do please watch the introduction Chris did too

Veronika

This was such a nice surprise! Such a great concert with a great setlist, and all of it for free. Always so much fun watching content along with you! About the enlistment, this concert was 2 days before the announcement, so yes that's what they are referring to in their endingments. They had been hinting about it in the weeks before too, but it definitely feels a lot more emotional watching this now knowing what they knew back then. The normal enlistment period is 18 months (sometimes more depending on the typeof service). We don't have a confirmed date yet, but Jin is going to be enlisting during the next couple of weeks. Knowing them though, they have so much content prepared for us (including the rest of the solo albums), so time is gonna fly by. (It also gives a great opportunity to catch up on everything else they have released 👀) Ps: Hobipalooza is a must! Lots of songs from his first mixtape though, but it's up to you to figure out if you'd like to check that out first or not :)

jennptx

I woke up and thought it was ARMY Christmas 🥰 Thank you so much for taking the time to sit down and watch, because we DO know how busy you are and how much love and attention you give to so many artists and to all of us here. Every BTS concert is such an experience to watch (I'm sure an even bigger one to be physically present for!!). Before finding BTS and ARMY, I always thought that if you did your work and lived your life and treated others with love and joy, that you'd be a happy, fortunate person. But in the last two years since I've become a fan, this has become so concrete. Every concert, and this one especially, is the epitome of so many people's hard work, love for BTS's music and message, and love for each other. I'm in awe, every single time. It has been a joy being here for your first BTS concert (I couldn't wait to see your reaction to Cypher Pt 3--my favorite cypher!!), and thanks for letting us tag along on your whole journey! Watching Hobipalooza is a must. Prepare your coffin. Borahae! 💜

Freedalein

Soo I am and probably will be a very silent viewer. I am pretty sure I am watching you since the beginning of your BTS journey and I love every second of it! Favourite reactor for sure! I enjoyed this reaction so much and felt all the emotions again. I can feel how much you appreciate the guys and us all as ARMY. Please react to Hobipallooza, it was so awesome!! And a recommendation for you I thought about a lot. You maybe know, that BTS has Movies that follow them on their tours and show a lot of behind the scenes, struggels and their hard hard work of those. They also have a series that gets into more detail and thoughts of the boys regarding the time on tour. I love this footage so much, because they don't hide in those and you can see all the hard work and love they put in to their tours. A great plus is, that they react to those movies and as expected it is a lot of fun. I think you would really like and appreciate those and I am sure ARMY would love to see you watching them. I would be so happy if you think about it :) Can't wait for you next reaction 💜

Jacqueline

Thank you so much. This was so much fun watching it again with you!

Kate N

YES! You have to see Hobipalooza whether you react to it or watch it privately!!! It is epic. (I’d love to see a reaction of it cuz it’s just soooooo good, but I don’t like to demand 😁)

Han

Omg! Excited too watch :)

Caitlin Doran

I love this reaction thank you and yes, yes, yes to Hobipalooza please. I’d love to see more concert/documentary reactions to BTS in the future too 💜

Mariana

Oh back here to leave a comment about the Yet To Come music video. Yes, it is the official mv for the song, it's the one now nominated for a Grammy. To get all the references you'd have to watch several of their past music videos so I'm going to leave a breakdown video from a Filmmaker reactor who approaches all his insights from, well... a filmmaker point of view. I feel this one is a good way to get all the references while also appreciating film aspects about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTDI7lwcC_g

Claudia

this really feels like an early christmas gift! Thanks a lot Michael and ofcourse YES to Hobipallooza <3

Joey

Yesss please check out hobipallooza!

Sarah

So excited to dig into this later!! Thank you Michael 💜

Soph Kim

omg I love that you watched this concert!!! Would absolutely not complain if you'd watch their other concerts too, like maybe one from each tour? that would be so amazing!!! And YES to hobipalooza, he owned that stage!! You'll love it

Hailey Lee

I mean, there was what, 61.5M viewers? FLEX, the demand is crazy. I remember the moment it crashed and people started to find illegal streams for a FREE concert, another bora history in the books 🤭

SNBangtan

YES YES YES to Hobipalooza. I was there in person and it was a PHENOMENAL stage. People always fall in love with j-hope when they see him live--it's ARMY canon that you go to a BTS concert and j-hope bias wrecks you and it's because he has such an incredible stage presence. People think we call him our Sun because he's bright and full of energy but it's really because he has his own gravity. And Hobipalooza just puts that front and center. And it was so highly reviewed. NME said it would go down in history as one of the best sets to ever grace the Lollapalooza stage and he was the highest ticket-selling performer in the festival's 31 year history. The founder of the festival and the Mayor of Chicago both came out to introduce his set. Anyway, it was an incredible stage start to finish and you should absolutely react to it!!

Serah Myst

Hi Michael, thanks for posting your reaction to the concert, it was great! And yes, please react to Hobipalooza! ALSO, did you know Jungkook is releasing a new song tomorrow, Dreamers? AND... RM is releasing his next solo album Indigo on December 2nd! So much exciting, new content to check out! I hope you're able to post reactions to those as well. Borahae! 💜💜

Michel

Thank you so much for this, it was a pleasure rewatching the concert with you! I will forever cherish this specific concert in my heart. In the months between their Festa dinner (where they announced their "hiatus") up to their enlistment announcement, things have been rough for us. We weren't exactly sure what's gonna happen next, if they're gonna get an exemption from the military and what not, and watching this concert truly felt like a goodbye - two days later we recieved the message of them going away and coming back as a group in 2025. But I gotta say, we handled it much better than I expected, and it was partly because of how well the guys have been preparing us for that and how much they've been CONSTANTLY ensuring us that this is, indeed, not the end, and that they will come back. Watching this concert now, everything really does make a lot more sense. The video in the beginning IS the official MV for Yet To Come and you got it, it looks simple but there's easter eggs all over it. Pretty much every scene is a remake from their past MVs, it's brilliant if you're familiar with them all. I really hope you could one day just sit down and watch all their MVs (maybe not in one sitting, lol) from beginning to the end, so you could see all the references in Yet To Come. They closed their chapter 1 nicely. (Also, the numbers on the train... god knows how hard armys try to connect the dots to those numbers every. single. comeback.) Hobipalooza is a MUST. I definitely recommend listening to j-hope's first mixtape Hope World before you watch the concert tho. For some reason this concert left such a strong feeling inside me. I guess I was nervous since it was such a big deal and the first solo concert of a member, but j-hope absolutely smashed it! Insane performer, and you can really see how he took what he learned from there and used it in the YTC concert, it's kinda as if he unlocked another level of himself, lol. I look forward to the rest of the albums! I've been checking your patreon every day, waiting for them to come, but I also know how much other stuff you work on, so I was patiently waiting (and will still be). <3

-Mac-

YES to Hobipallooza! [Increases the vote count.] The props, many of the actions, and scenes, reference videos from debut to YtC dropped, and yes this is the video for the song. Videos before the start of the concert are typical for BTS; they play many videos and then right before the concert begins they play the last/most current track. What you saw before the countdown was the drone flyover before the guys take the stage. Yes, long-haired Bangtan, w/Jay~ in blond highlight extensions. Yunki's shirt [The Earth is Flat. Don't you know that?] and the one under it, are from Vetements. "Live your life sucka's. I wish you good luck". First shots off the bow from Namjoon! If you haven't, you seriously NEED to see the dance practice of Run BTS. We *all* love a good crotch grab. BTS cured me of my distaste. 😅 The bandanas are a call back to debut era. JK is the king of big kicks; I couldn't even *walk* in those, and they all can full-on dance in them.😮 The ad-libs while V is singing in "Save Me" are by JK. BTS eats CD's before concerts. 💯 You may notice the swing Jk sits on, bus Jin is on, piano Jimin is at, the flower beside V are props from earlier videos but most recently seen in the Yet to Come MV we watched at the opening of the concert. The Butterfly is a REAL effect, not IR for tv. JK's emotions when he sings are intense, even when he's doing live mini-concerts for ARMY. Seriously, this man LOVES to sing. Yes, Purple is our colour.💜 Rap Line supremacy. BTS' stage camera crew is usually really good, though one did fall down on stage in the concert; he didn't have a guide/spotter and backed over a prop. :'( This is the last time we will ever hear "Cypher pt.3: Killer", live. They changed up a few verses. This is another "shots fired" moment, they didn't come to play and they were talking rather directly. Also, Yunki didn't stutter. My man be an equal opportunity kinda guy, everyone goin' over for him. Hyundai was a sponsor for the concert. The guys have hung out with Spot [robot dog], previously. Also, normally during outfit changes, there would be a VCR that is part of the ongoing storyline; since the *group* isn't active as a unit but doing individual work, we got a fun sponsor commercial instead. ALSO also, when bora-Spot is with the guys and they do their cheer notice that Yunki doesn't look. THAT is the most comforting moment in BTS ARMY history, because he won't look during the cheer until it's the last time they go up to the stage as a group. So, this is not their last concert, it's just a break for now. The way I breathed out and relaxed. My City isn't even my fave song, but JK like WHY? :swoons: And then comes Yunki, my fave D-boy. :more swooning: And there goes the camera guy.... Rap line works hard, but JK works hard too because he doubles them in many places... all while dancing like a damn machine, like HOW?!... Oh right, to singing and running on a treadmill. :JK got superpowers, I swear: Jin got burned once and he wasn't even as close as they are here, pyro is exciting... Idol: That 'monster' is from South Korea's traditional lion dance. You couldn't have Young Forever and *not* have For Youth, since the latter samples the former song when ARMY sang it for the guys at Wembley. You can't abolish the wave because it's a standard part of a normal BTS concert. LOL. Though they didn't ask for one here [prob because of time constraints and that it was for the World Fair nom]. Spring Day: Poor Yunki was tearing up in the back. Then he comes out and does his verse like the pro he is. Your comment about the set: the train having power etc, this is always BTS, go big or go home. I can't even talk about end 'ments because I wanna be sad always, they break our hearts and fill them up at the same time. But between Yunki not looking during the cheer, and everyone talking about when they come back and years of being together in their future and asking for mutual trust, I did calm down and believe. I just keep hearing Yunki saying "Pause" Active service is a min of 18 months, the time between enlistment, then the actual call to serve, and training all add time to that [I *think*] so 2025 is the soonest we can see them all back together. The 3 years comment is about how long it's been since BTS has had a concert where they can actually SEE & HEAR ARMYs cheering in South Korea. This level of fan connection is why we love them. We really have been right up in their business for so many aspects of their lives/careers. Award season has begun and fan voting for best song, best singer, performance [the list goes on], will continue until late December. MULTIPLE award shows in Asia, the EU, and the US. Jin won the "Individual Fan N Star Choice Award." So, the live stream of this concert was awful, so many millions of us dropped and had to scramble for less than legal choices for viewing on the night of and even those were dropping one by one. The replay was much better. [and I hear there were still issues for many, I just got lucky this time]. I wish that those of us who could have afforded it, would have been able to purchase viewing from Kwise. The whale represents "Whalien" [from the song Whalien 52] the so-called "Loneliest Whale" at 52 htz. [said whale may finally have a few buddies on his frequency as of the last year or two] right around the time BTS put two whales in the concert [PTD era]. Oh, and btw, the "Yet to Come" MV has a grammy nom YES to Hobipallooza! [Increases the vote count.] Whew! This was long but I wanted my thoughts all in one place. Thank you for watching this with us!

Scave13

YES PLEASE DO HOBIPALOOZA

The comedy of that moment and the rage, I was so #pressed OMG.

Aishwarya Majumdar

army before concert: yeah we promise to not do illegal streaming and will use your very official streaming platforms thank u bts! army like 30 min later: actually,

DanielleM

Holy smokes, I'm so excited to rewatch this with you!!!! Thank you so much Mitchael! Edit: Oh my gosh yes, please react to Hobipalooza!! I was lucky enough to be able to see Hobi perform his solo in person and boy was he incredible! And if you have the time I highly recommend watching the live stream Hobi and Jimin did after it! Sweet Jimin flow in to support his hyung(Older brother/Older male friend) and from what they both shared Hobi really needed Jimin.🥺 I love them so much!!! 7 soulmates found each other in this crazy big world.💜

FlyUshkiFly

So many things I could comment on! OMG, most important though, Michael - I forget you are still basically a baby ARMY! You've heard so much of their discography, but I was shocked that this is the first concert you've seen. What a great one to start with - but you have some serious catching up to do. :-) Also, we will make damned sure you know how to have the best chance at getting a BTS ticket in 2025. Ticketmaster is like a dragon we have to slay every time. You may be familiar dealing with them, but add in ARMY membership pre-sale details and timing, and you will feel like you've personally birthed your firstborn when you score. (mixed metaphor, but go with it. hehe) Thank you so much for reacting to this! Any other performances would be a treat: Hobipalooza, Wings tour, Love Yourself, etc. It's all good.

FlyUshkiFly

and some combo of BTS is featuring on Pharrell's anticipated Phriends album!

Yukari

The morning of the concert (I think it was 2am for me), I was ready with stream and casting on our big TV and I had my laptop ready with another streaming site just in case. And in the middle of Run, it started to glitch and finally froze. I guess almost 50 million people streaming was too much! The YTC MV is so special for Army because it references so many of the old MV’s including their first (the bus). I’m so glad I got to watch the concert again through your reaction. I think they are such great performers. Sometimes I wish the cameras would capture both individual close-ups as well as a wide shot showing everyone. I’ve seen fan videos of boys interacting. There was one in particular that showed JK removing his earpiece when Jin sang presumably to enjoy Jin’s voice. I loved JK in Butterfly, Jimin and Jin’s harmony in zero o’clock and V’s in For Youth. There was another video of Yoongi during Spring Day where he looked almost in tears. And you are right, Yoongi has the softest heart.I was taken aback a bit that RM was so quiet (in relation to other concert)… The military stuff was announced a few days after the concert. Jin, I understand, wanted to enlist in June but the Busan opportunity came. Now he has to do basic training in the harshest, coldest time of the year. He’s been doing lots of variety shows and they are so much fun. I’m looking forward to RM’s album Indigo and in about 3 hours, JK’s song for The World Cup is being released. So much happening! And if anyone is reading this long comment, please vote for BTS for Mama… 2022mamavote.com. Thank you for a fantastic reaction!

Liuzetz

I am so so so glad you got to watch this concert! It was incredible and so emotional since it will be the last for while of all of them together, but I'm so thrilled and excited for what will come next. As they said marvelously well, we trust each other and us Army will trust BTS and support them always. There were so many amazing moments in this and I will remember this one forever. They are always really great live but Hobi, Tae and Yoongi's stage presence always kills me. All the members are precious beings and they deserve the World. Also, yes, please watch Hobipalooza!! It was INCREDIBLE. For real, he slayed that performance.

Sydnee R

First thank you for checking out the Yet To Come Busan. If you want to watch another group concert, the Permission to Dance in LA concert is now on Disney+. and Also, yesss... please please pleaaaase also react to Hobipallooza (J-hope's set at lollapalooza) they have the full Set on the group's Youtube Channel BANGTANTV (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ak5yOmj8W8&t=98s&ab_channel=BANGTANTV). and if you do, you should also watch his Live afterwards where he talks about the challenges that he went through putting it all together on his own without the group there is also a surprise guest as well! A link to that live is here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-yre1b7EXGc

Amanda Vicente

Michael please react to Proof Live too ! I know you will love so much ! Thnks for the amazing reaction as always !

DanielleM

I'd say Jimin's a cat as well as a baby chick, he's our calico cat🥰

Alix Drifty

One of Jimin's nicknames in Korean translates to "puppykitty" lol - so you saying he's like a cat was hilarious. Suga is usually the one compared to cat - but more an older cat, rather than an energetic kitten. BTS audience interaction is pretty legendary. They're so amazing at genuinely connecting with the fans - having honest talks (or as honest as they can be in the moment), and sharing their thoughts. And yes, I'd love for you to watch Hobipalooza!

Nadilynn

Thank you for loving this all so kindly. Am certain Hobipalloosa will not disappoint.

PamTan

I uploaded all the songs and the full concert with the correct lyrics here https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNsyDNKp9qHB8UwFzQNwAVwPCMVs4cpbc

PamTan

For the ones that don't know, Hobi changed his lyrics to Cypher pt 3. I uploaded all the songs and the full concert with the correct lyrics in this playlist https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNsyDNKp9qHB8UwFzQNwAVwPCMVs4cpbc

Nattie Dior ⁷

I know somebody's probably already put this in the comments but if you're going to watch HobiPlozza I suggest listening to Hope World first if you haven't but I 100% recommend that you do watch HobiPalooza Im selfish and love long-form content

Jessica

Yes! We want hobipalooza reaction ☺️💜

Janet Michelle

Definitely joining in with the "Hope World" + lyrics and then HOBIPALOOZA. It's a show I rewatch over and over again. I'd also do it soon since RM's "Indigo" Album is coming out soon, so you'll want to listen to his solo stuff and watch his MVs before that cones out. His songs have such profound meanings and incredible word play. I really think you'll love reading the lyric meanings. I suggest Doolset, although I think you already use that website.

frejan

I love concert reactions. Rewatching it like this was so much fun! I don't think anyone would entertain the thought of Yoongi being an unironic flat-earther :P I got a laugh out of it though, so thanks. That is just a little tongue-in-cheek social commentary sweat shirt. yes, a big YES to Hobipalooza (lollapalooza). I personally would recommend reacting to Hope World mixtape first, it will definitely enhance the experience! But it's okay, whatever way you want to approach it.

Suga.Just. Became.Salty.

Yes! yet to come music video has soooo many references to the past music videos, btw the school bus was from their first music video...so when they sang: "back to 1" (when showing the bus)it meant :back to where it all began (their roots)

Definitely agree with the rest, you should react to Hope World first before you do Hobipalooza. It was his first solo project and it makes the actual performance feel even more special and emotional. If you're already falling for Hobi that performance is going to destroy you lmao he's such an insane performer

Loved that you got to react to the free concert in Busan! The Permission To Dance Concert in LA is on Disney Plus if you’d like to watch that as well. It has songs that were performed in this concert but so many songs that you haven’t seen a performance to yet, and a little behind the scenes! 💜

Was watching your reaction again. The robots dancing to PTD are from Boston Dynamics now owned by Hyundai… some people thought they were creepy but programming involved in creating the dance moves are quite intricate. I think the dog-like robot is called Spot. I remember watching 60-minutes about the company.

ok i only just finished watching this because i’ve been so busy the past few days!! but this was such a treat to rewatch! thank you for giving the boys so much love !!! for sure would love to watch you watch hobipalooza! also other recs while i’m here, of course dark and wild and their other group earlier albums!! D-2 and Mono (mono might be my favourite sequence of songs that have ever existed - the comfort this album gives me is unmatched) are my fav mixtapes from yoongi and namjoon. And of course some of my favs of their other concerts are ‘Speak Yourself’ in São Paolo, the Wings Tour Final in Seoul, their PTD concerts and HYYH Epilogue. Also highly recommend their first documentary (or any of them) ‘Break the Silence’ cos it’s 2017 BTS on Wings Tour and although they’ve changed and grown even more since then, it’s such a nostalgic piece for my 2018 baby ARMY self who got the first glimpse of bts on tour behind the scenes (love the bts pun). Anything with these guys on or off stage is magnificent cos they just are so genuine and lovely. they are such respectable people. i love the love you share on this channel and sorry if i’m overwhelming, i just find a safe, calm place here for the end of my days, seeing bts and you with that same love is great.

Vanessa

thank you for reacting to this, i needed the dopmaine from a rewatch anyway, it's been a hard week

I already commented before but I had this on my mind and wasn't sure if anyone commented it: The ments they have at the end of the concert and in between every few songs are very common for them. They always take their time to talk to ARMY and share their honest feelings, some of these ments - a lot of them Namjoon's, cs he's just so good with words ilovethisman - are so legendary that every ARMY, veteran or new, knows them. I love it so much since you can really get to know them a bit more and understand how they're feeling. They've been always doing them and probably forever will be 💜 (I'd say this concert didn't even have that much talking lol)

theGeekOutGirl

I definitely recommend Hobipalooza hahaha. I was actually lucky enough to get to in the second row for that in Chicago. I've always said that at live concerts, Hobi is always the one to catch my eye because he just exudes so much energy and he just draws you in. Same at Lollapalooza. I saw so many great artists and groups those few days and Hobi's performance is definitely one of the tops. XD

Caroline B.

i've loved and admired him for so long but he still blew my mind at lollapalooza, i really hope you get to watch it if you find the time!!

Joana Alves

Are you going to react to Billie Eilish concert ? She put one out on Apple Music Live for the end of her Happier Than Ever tour. Take care !

2023-05-05 22:46:43 i highly recommend checking out j-hope's performance at lollapalooza, he did absolutely amazing! you can find the full performance on the official bangtan tv's channel, and i also uploaded that same performance with subtitles which you can find on my channel, if you'd prefer reading the lyrics along:) (which i highly recommend 'cause hobi's writing and storytelling throughout his albums are mind blowing) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8feMj1V4DU&t=1485s

loved this so so sooo much! i LOVED this concert and its honestly one of the best theyve done imo. and thats crazy coz theyve done a LOT of really good concerts, so i cant wait for this to come out as a concert film from bighit with proper audio and video quality coz that is gonna become my fav thing to watch ever lol. also, cant believe we got the heart over the head thing from you lmao. that was cute. and really, thank you again for this. it was amazing. (btw did anyone else notice that the audio in this video was really weird compared to the actual livestream? idk what the uploader did to the audio but, yeah, the audio was MUCH better in the actual livestream) ALSO, big YES to hobipallooza.

Caroline B.

So, so, so happy you were able to check this entire concert, it's such an experience!! and it's so different to see a whole concert with the transitions and the crowd interaction and the ending speeches etc, it's a must have experience as a new army :D

Salsabil yakoubi

Yesss Hobipalooza next (there is a channel that has the whole performance with subs)

Salsabil yakoubi

but that also has some Hopeworld songs in the performance so maybe react to that mixtape before reacting to hobipalooza

This is as delightful to watch with you as I thought it would be. Those are our boys doing what they love the very most. :) I have lots of thoughts, but I'll try to keep it short! and I know I'm late to this so I'm so sorry if I repeat something that someone has already said! First, I wanted to talk about the ads. I know, a strange topic, but I wanted to give some cultural context. In Korea a show can't be broken into for commercials (though I have seen some talks that broadcasters are trying to change this) so there is a lot of product placement within shows (some shows are really good at making it natural while others ... are not) so if you end up watching bts' shows (especially newer ones) you'll see some product placement (yoongi/suga is my personal favorite when he shows an item because he puts on his best advertiser face and it is quite hilarious). They don't do that often during concerts but that is probably partially the reason they had that one in the middle, on top of the fact that the concert was pretty short notice for them and didn't have time to make their typical videos for between sets (called vcr's). I feel like the ad thing is a bit of culture shock, but the ads and brand ambassador things they get are actually a source of pride for a lot of army especially the og ones because bts used to be made fun of for not having any. They were really poor and made fun of for it often and people would say no brand would want them. When members would have a name brand item, like Chanel or something people would say that it must be fake because they're too poor to actually own it and now they're the brand ambassador for all the largest brands in korea like hyundai and Samsung, etc. That isn't something I normally care about at all, I just thought because of their history that might be something you would like to know!

chimelle6

The ending ments (when they're talking to the crowd) is typical in kpop, but bts ones certainly have a very special place in my heart. The sincerity is always present. Joonie in particular is known for his beautiful speeches at the end (which is part of the reason he typically goes last). They all give their hearts in those speeches though and as someone that tries to catch their ending ments from every concert even if I'm not there I can tell you they're truly never the same.

chimelle6

There were definitely more things I had to say, but I'm forgetting them all know ... haha if I remember them I'll come back here, but thank you so much for this!!!!

chimelle6

OHHH! Yes, to Hobipalooza!!!! and oh my goodness am I so excited for you to get to the rest of their discography! Its og bangtan and very different from the albums you've heard, though there have been glimpses in things you have seen but hyyh was a turning point in sound and now you will be getting into their roots!

chimelle6

Oh! Last thing for the night I promise! 🤣 But yessss on the camera work! 99% of the time bts’ team has the most amazing camera work. I think that it stems from the really terrible camera work that shows often gave the tannies performances in the early days which felt deliberate because other acts wouldn’t get the same treatment. After one performance in particular (https://youtu.be/kWuNi-OLLgU) the tannies and bighit must have been fed up with it because they redid the entire performance and posted it with 3 different angles and labeled them ‘very good camera’ ‘good camera’ and ‘do you want more?’ (https://youtu.be/S1Up-ZzHmuw) They can be very petty in the very best way when it’s deserved. This isn’t really a reaction request, though I would love your thoughts! Lol but it’s more just if you want to see a little bit of history on your own time. It is a cherished moment in army history but I rarely see people react to it so I don’t think you’ll get requests for it?

Bangtan is life

There were a lot of comments to like 😂 I agree with what everyone has already said so I don’t really have anything else to add, except maybe after Hobipalooza, you could watch his behind the scenes video of it on bangtantv to show you how much work he put into it😊 although it’s best to do that in a separate video since the Hobipalooza reaction would be very long lol And for future reference, these are the official animals that army and BigHit have chosen for the boys : RM=🐨 Jin=🐹 Suga=🐱 Jhope=🐿️ Jimin=🐥 V=🐯/🐻 Jungkook =🐰

Crystal

I'm SO GLAD you're watching a concert. In my opinion, BTS shines the most in their live performances, and that's saying something.

moon

you talking about how much bts talks to their fans, it's like that at literally every show. they really take the time to talk to the army and even after the show is over they start a live stream to thank us more and to make sure everyone is safe and well, sometimes they haven't even showered or eated yet. its so special, i always say i have been a fan of many artists in my life but i have never seen artists loving their fans and constantly proving their love like bts does i don't think it ever existed before and never will. bts and army have a connection that cannot be explained, and no one will understand if they don't actually get into it. So for you who are baby army I recommend watching the things they create for us like: run bts; bon voyage; in the soop; there are series too and also shows and videos that make our connection with them stronger. listen to the albums, songs they wrote exclusively for fans like: 2!3!; magic shop; pied piper; boy with luv; home; mikrokosmos; make it right; zero o'clock; we are bulletproof the eternal; stay; for youth; my you; the astronaut; moon... you can consider several others as well but this comment will get too long.
