The burlington bar videos for GoT are some of my favorite things to watch. They are also doing House of the Dragon reactions so I will be following along with them as more episodes release. There is a certain GoT episode that they watched that I highly suggest you watch as well ( I’ll let you know when that time comes :) ) But yeah I love that channel!

yaaay i was waiting for this !! the firt episode of house of the dragon was amazing, it was so good to be back in this world, hopefully once you finish with GOT you'll watch it with us :) Tbh i wouldn't think much about what people thought of the last season, like you've said just go with an open mind and make you're own opinion. To me GOT is still one of the best tv series ever and can't wait for the next drop cause this season has a couple of my favorite episodes in the entire show

I agrée. While I wasn’t a fan of the ending, it doesn’t negate for me the large fraction of the show that was indescribably incredible.

Just watch the rest with an open mind. I’m in the minority where, except for a few things that I won’t get into right now (obvs) I was okay leaning towards happy with what everyone was angry about. That’s as vague as I can be without giving away anything including timelines lol 😂

So one thing I would need to look up the words they say and can't at the moment but when they take their oath it is until they die.. They say from this day till my last day I think and while Jon is alive he did die so is kinda a weird loophole but could count as his time there as being over

I'm so so happy you started to see Cersei with new eyes. She's always been one of my favorite characters for her complexity and layers and there's just so much to her and her history, it's a shame people would reduce her to a basic villain of some sorts. If there's one thing I love about this show is how all the women are basically figuring out what they need to do and what are their weapons in a world ruled by men and violence. There are only 2 or 3 of them in the show who could literally fight for their lives, so it's very interesting to me to watch them surviving by their own means.

Yes! More GOT!! Love the dinamic between tormund and jon! Also sansa reuniting with her brother was awesome! And she's so resilient and just became stronger after everything she's been through. Some amazing episodes are still ahead this season1 Also I think is good you don't know what or when people started dsliking certain hings, and don't think about it too much, make your opinions, and at the end of the show we can all talk freely about what we didn't like. Let's just keep enojying the ride! :)

It does sadden me that you are aware of the hate towards the end of GoT. Just know that sentiment is not as universal as it may seem. It's proof by you going through season 5 and not even once mentioning any of the major issues the "internet" had with it. You loved Dorne and most people hated it. It just shows if you watch this show in a bubble and just enjoy it for what it is then that's all that matters. I am a fan of this show from beginning to end. Yes, it's golden era was seasons 3-4 but this show still has so many incredible moments yet to come. I hope hope hope hope you genuinely can block out any thought of what you've heard people say about the last few seasons. I'm not saying it was perfect, and we all wish it wasn't rushed but the story is STILL good. And from watching your reactions and re-experiencing it with you, I can tell you will feel the same. I also suspect that anyone joining you on this journey in patreon is probably pretty like-minded in that most of the haters have written the show off already and wouldn't be hear re-watching w/ you. And if I'm wrong and you come to your own conclusion about how the last few seasons go then that's also perfectly fine.

This is SOOO true. I felt the exact same way, loving the show from beginning to end. I was fortunate in that I was super busy building my business and didn't have time for the internet's opinion on the show's end; so I was able to draw my own conclusions without any influence. I hope Beveraggi does the same...

Such a good point. I'm watching the new LOTR series and really enjoying it. Then I read Internet opinions. Everything I loved the bros were complaining about. Yikes.
