I so want to watch this, but Vimeo hates me. It says I'm blocked from seeing it, but I have no trouble seeing your Patreon vids. Any suggestions? I do have the Vimeo app. It does this to me with other reactors I sponsor.

Annika

I’m so sad that all the past videos after this one from Taylor do not exist anymore 😭 I’d love to see your reactions especially to the docs

eve🐱🏀

Giu Bressani

Desi Jones

Can’t wait to watch this!! Also are you gonna react to Demi’s new album?

Portia Crain

At a scotty McCreary concert tonight but so excited to come back to this and watch it

Tiffany

Ahhhh!!! So excited!! Btw if she doesn’t change that mattress line in Better Than Revenge TV I’ll be shocked lol

Taylor singing Drops of Jupiter is one of my favorite covers she's ever done. It's so beautiful! I'm happy we have a live album from the Speak Now tour.

Giu Bressani

quick mid comment! Taylor wrote a different quote/song lyric in her arm for almost every stop of this tour! And it's funny you mentioned her doing covers because she also did multiple during Speak Now Tour in the US, paying tribute to artists born in each city she was in! It was a very special tour because we never knew what to expect from each stop!

Alycia Ortiz

I’m not done watching but I just wanna say I just died laughing at the clock comment 😂😂

As much as I love reputation, Speak Now is probably my favorite concert tour. Like reputation, this concert film is in real time. There are no weird edits or inserted interviews like the Fearless or 1989 films. We get to see how she put the entire show together, every set and costume change. Unlike reputation, the concert footage is from more than one show. She greets Chicago at the beginning of the show. On the B stage, she sings "California now capture it remember it." During "Dear John" we see a mix of pyro in arenas and in stadiums. It took me several viewings to understand that it is her dancers on the bridge during "Back to December." Taylor is playing to a backing track, and the dancers are miming playing the strings. The only live strings are played by Caitlin Evanson. Taylor toured Speak Now in Asia first. She came up with the idea for the Apologize/You're Not Sorry medley there. I love the live introduction to "Haunted" so much! On the DVD extras, there is footage of Taylor and the band in rehearsals. In one scene, Taylor is singing the introduction to Amos Heller, her bass player. Also during "Haunted," you can see a bit of her "Long Live" dress peeking out from under her red dress. Taylor played a different cover every night based on where she was. In Nashville, she played "Nashville" by David Mead. This is my favorite cover of hers. It is on the special edition DVD. While I did not get to attend this tour (I was just starting to become a fan,) I did go see an exhibition of all of Taylor's Speak Now dresses at the Country Music Hall of Fame. The tour booklet included the designers of her dresses, which are some big name designers. They are: Sparks Fly/Mine: Roberto Cavalli Mean: vintage reproduction Speak Now: vintage reproduction Back to December: Marchesa Better than Revenge: Jenny Packham Enchanted: Reem Acra Haunted: Susan Hilferty Long Live: Jenny Packham Love Story: Valentino

I really love this tour, it's so magical in every single way. Also, it's been 10 years but I don't think I'll ever listen to Long Live without crying. This song means so much to me and watching it live always makes it even more special. Unfortunately Taylor never toured in Brazil so I was never able to watch any of her concerts, but she did come for a special showcase for like 2k pax and I was lucky enought to attend it and she did sing Long Live so I'm glad I got to live this little moment As for recommendations, you mentioned the live album and I think you'd love Miley's new live album, ATTENTION. It was recorded during her latest Latin America tour and she's absolutely insane live! Also, as always, I'm still waiting for you to finally watch one of BTS concerts! Either from their latest Permission to Dance live or from Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tours. I just know you'll be blown away by it

Ana

Thank you for reacting, Michael! Hope life is treating you well lately <3 Honestly, I made peace with Better Than Revenge by thinking of Taylor channeling her inner Misery Business and now that I think of it that way, I LOVE it!!!! She's also said that she regrets the mattress line, which makes me think of Hayley coming out and saying that she regrets the "Once a wh*re you're nothing more" line. Still great songs, it was just a different era and a different feeling, like you're the overlooked diamond while the "easy" person takes your guy. Thankfully we are more progressive today :) I think Taylor's mom being a cancer survivor twice may be a big reason why she's not touring. I'm not sure how it works, but I can't imagine that she would risk giving her mama covid and after experiencing "mild" covid....I can tell you, it's NO joke T_T I would settle for more Long Pond Sessions!!! I want Evermore Long Pond Sessions so baddddd

Xene

I’m only 10 mins in, and u said, “I feel like they built that for her.” Of course they did. She’s Taylor Swift.

LondonNicole

Excited to watch this with you! I'm not very invested in Taylor - I don't follow anything she does outside of her music - but my mom and I literally blast all her CDs in the car on repeat and this is one of my favourite albums and concert shows!

Michael Beveraggi

Oh yeah muchhh smoother & easier to engage with! & totally didn’t catch the different footage, it’s blended so smoothly! Didn’t catch the dancers miming strings thing either! So much to pick up on in this one!

Stephanie Orman

Thank you for reacting to this! Haunted and the Back to December mashup are always highlights of this tour for me. If you download the live album on Apple Music, you should also have access to the full concert video if you ever want to watch it again without worrying about streaming quality. As for where you should go next for Taylor content, all of these shows are relatively small and intimate for her (I think the largest show listed below is a crowd of 9000, but some are as small as 200; they are so special). I don’t think you have seen any of these. -City of Lover Concert Live in Paris (Lover Era) -Amazon Prime Concert (Lover Era) -VH1 Storytellers at Harvey Mudd (An Early Red Era Concert, were she answers questions from the crowd and gives background on song meanings, a lot of Speak Now content). -Taylor Swift Live on the Seine (Paris, Red Era, Short Concert) -Super Saturday Night Concert (Post 1989, the only concert she performed in 2017 after the events that led to Reputation). -AT&T Secret Show Chicago (Reputation Era, short concert, a very intimate surprise show for 200 fans, who were WILD) Let us know if you need links!

I love this so much and glad you enjoyed watching it! It really is such a magical show, I also love how theatrical it is, Taylor really made sure there were so many details and made it so entertaining, all while putting so much into her own performance, emotionally and vocally, that Haunted performance really is just something! And the Long Live performance gets me emotional every time. I think someone else already mentioned that it's made up of clips of different concerts and venues so you see both stadium and arena footage, it took me a couple of different watches to figure that out myself :D I think you've watched all her main tour films, but there are definitely plenty of other things still to watch, I agree the Live on the Seine from the red era is a great short watch and it's on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8W_278Mc0Lo But always happy to recommend more! <3

Georgia Gardner

Iovedddd the reaction!!! you should watch/listen to the betty davis eyes cover from this tour!

RuthGA

Loved the reaction. Speak Now tour was so much fun because she really performed the album. She also personalized it to pay special tribute to the city she was in by writing the lyrics of famous songs from that area down her arm and singing covers of famous artists from the area. When you talked about Lover in the beginning of the video, I get what you mean, cause I love Lover. I also think that Lover is a grower album and that it has grown on the fandom. You should react to City of Lover concert, I have a copy if you would like me to send it to you.

Julie B

Yes to all of these. Plus, the reputation songwriting videos.

Mariana

I'm a casual listener of Taylor so I had never seen videos of her concerts, and this was amazing!! I don't think I had ever listened to Haunted before, but I'm in love with that song now (and that performance)

Brianna

Watch Taylor's making of reputation next! I promise you'll love it. It's so cool to see how she created the songs and it's filmed entirely by her!

Vivian Betancourt

I love this! I don't know why every time I heard long live live like this it makes me so emotional

Fabiana Souza

Love it! Drops of jupiter in this is perfect ❤️

Lady Roxette

Always fun watching your reaction videos! Thank you for doing this! The RED Tour should be next to complete all the concerts she did ♥️ there's a dvd for this tour but found this link from youtube. not sure if this is good enough: https://youtu.be/x9g1guKNUL4

Loved this reaction 💖. Just so you know the Speak Now songs performed live is on Spotify. Just type in speak now world tour and the album will pop up 😁

Janet Michelle

This is just me guessing, but she's probably not touring much now (and was only going to play Lover at 4 festivals) because of her mom's health. With Covid going and her mom's very serious cancer it's probably more important to her to be with her family while giving us the Taylor's Versions. I think that's why we got the Long Pond Sessions.

Clarissa

That Chicago surprise Show is the best thing ever i loooove to watch it over and over!!

Tiffany

Just over here, freaking out about her Midnights announcement

Patrizia

Loved the reaction Michael! Next you should definitely do the Fearless tour or City of Lover was amazing (Cornelia Street and Death by a thousands cuts were phenomenal live) i was wondering though is it just me or the Forever and always performance was missing in this video? 😂 idk anyway i always enjoy your Tay Tay reactions thank you ♥️

Omg! This takes me back. That was my first TS live show and I remember how great and fascinating it was. Her vocals, the scene, the decors, the dancers, etc. I loved it!! I also remember a critic the day after... the "journalist" was a sixty-something year old man who said that most of her songs were non-ending painful balads and that TS had a lot To do To get To the level of Shania Twain. I was PISSED OFF. I remember I wrote To him saying: 1. Taylor never pretended To be at Shania level, why would you even assume that it would be her goal. She's herserlf. Period. 2. I dont expect a 60 year old Dude To understand how TS's music can be so important for young girls/women. It shows that You didnt even tried To put yourself in our shoes, then your critic is irrelevant. Anyway... I hope we get a new show soon!!

Hey, if you think Mean hits different in this, you should watch Mean at the Grammys :) You could also do City of Lover concert, BBC1 live lounge, Lover SNL performances (i think you already did Tiny Desk?)

“I’m just saying like, it should—this is dear john, let’s fucking goooo.” The way you interrupted your own train of thought when you heard that first twang.

the speak now tour had a different song for every city. Chicogo was drops of jupiter. Detroit show was "lose yourself" etc.

Just gonna wait patiently for the re-upload 👉🏼👈🏼
