So I only fell in love with this album only in the past few days through Satellite which I couldn't stop playing on repeat one day after seeing a tiktok with it and remembering how insane the ending is. Back when the album was released, I was not in the right headspace to listen to new music, so I tried to get into it but just couldn't. It's interesting cause throughout the year I've heard most of the songs in the background or through tiktoks of Harry's concerts because, yes, my fyp is full of Harry even though I haven't been really listening to him for a few years. So now, actually putting the album on and listening to all the songs felt really familiar but new at the same time since I got used to the more retro sound of the album. I'm so glad I got here in the end since I love Harry as an artist, and for a while, I thought this album was really not for me, but thankfully I was so wrong. I just had to get to a place mentally where I could finally take in the sound of his new era and enjoy all the songs

Just had to take a 45 minute drive, can confirm the majority is amazing road-trip/pretty day drive songs, especially the beginning half in my opinion. Matilda is probably my favorite song on the album, but definitely an alone late night drive song.

Ahh I’ve yet to have an album length drive with it, really looking forward to that though. That’s always the biggest test

‘cocaine, side boob, choke her with a sea view” is my new favorite lyric because WHAT HARRY

A lot of ppl say love of my life sounds like Joshua… I can’t hear it but they also said that about as it was. Thought that was interesting. Also little freak is catchy I like it. Matilda tho is so sad. Feel like it’s the first song that’s not necessarily about a romantic partner. Which I like bc I can’t relate to ever being in a relationship.

Can you react to Justin Bieber’s never say never documentary. It’s one of my fav documentary’s ever. I think it really shows how he was around so many adults and worked so much. Now when I watch it I think of the lonely mv. Also pay attention to the piano song towards the end. It’s about his parents. Also u should do his believe documentary after. They started filming it before his little breakdown and finished it either around the time he was getting help or just before that. I think just getting to see him as a human and how stressful everything was and tbh his parents were around mostly his mom but it seems like they left him alone a lot. His dad was in and out of his life. He had a lot of issues with his dad when he was younger bc his dad left him.

HARRY is amazing!! I listened to it on my own first, and I like it, but after listening with you it's growing on me specially some songs are standing out more, and it's definitely an album for multiple listens! For now my favorites Music for a sushi restaurant, Cinema, Daydreaming..Thank u Michael for an awesome reaction!

Your initial favorites were mine as well! But you are sooo right -- it will change, and then change again, and then again, etc, etc. This album is stunningly beautiful. Simply a masterpiece.

I decided to comment once I have digested the album a little more and my top 3 faves are Matilda, boyfriends, and Satelite. Harry's house is phenomenal, there's nothing else I can say about it.

so.... my much younger cousin Briony has been telling me (re:yelling at me) to listen to Harry for years and i have in passing but never an entire album in a sitting... um.. MY BAD! When i saw you post this i saw it as a sign, figuring if you like it i would also. Damn was i right. I now owe Briony an apology for years of not listening to her, and a long phone convo to gush over this masterpiece! Also did you work out what Late Night Talking reminded you of because i too have an earworm and its bugging me!! EDIT: nevermind, its Levitating Dua Lipa lol My fave tracks lyrically/emotionally ended up being Little Freak, Matilda and Keep Driving... but Music for a Sushi Restaurant and Cinema had me hooked the second it hit me Edit to add - i do a happy dance whenever ANYONE recognises the genius of Songs about Jane!

i feel this is probably the most 2022 lyric in existence. lol
