I never understood why people loved Brienne. She had no life. She literally just went around pledging herself to people she thought were more worthy and entitled to her life than she was. I like the fact that she was strong and could fight, but her character was just weird to me.

gahhhhh again loving watching this with you! not gonna lie.. i kinda want you to slam like 4 episodes out a sitting... but thats my binge watching pro status coming out...lol.. i may need a hobby! ... love that your fave characters are the same as mine. and i love that im still picking up links and things that tie in later on these re-watches... shows you how freaking incredible and genius this whole show was as an entirety! it will be timeless!

I've been loving to rewatch this with you and I'm so happy we're meeting some of my favorite characters like Melisandre, Margaery and Brienne! Also, I wasn't sure if you knew (but I guess you don't from your final commentary), but the show is based on a novel series called A Song of Ice and Fire, with the first one (named Game of Thrones) released on 1996. (But the last volume of the novel was published in 2011 and there are still 2 more books to be released someday - maybe, who knows -, so the show only follows the books up until season 5 if I'm correct and then the author just kinda told the writers what the future of the characters would be)
