So excited for more 1975 reactions! This was so good 🥰 Being Funny in a Foreign Language is my favourite body of work but the other albums have some or my favourite, favourite songs, very keen to hear more of your thoughts on those ☺️

I’m so glad you did this! Watching someone else experience Love It If We Made It for the first time is like a special treat for me. This is genuinely a great band and I think you will find a lot more to enjoy in the rest of their discography. Being Funny in a Foreign Language might be the most (ahem) relevant album to try next.

oh god i forgot how much this album made me cry when it dropped, i haven't heard it in a while... i think you just gotta accept that it's a commentary on postmodern society and isolation that comes with late stage capitalism, i'll be it from a narcissist's pov (the concrete shoes line i always interpreted as idealising about drowning yourself but never making the moves to do it)
