Omg you did listen to MIITO. I wish we did watch your reaction to it. I love it so much

Thabit Ayob

I hope you also watch his mvs. They are so artistic

Idkmybffki

Watching his videos for this album in the order of release is a must! I really hope you get to go back and react to them! And also go back and listen to his first album as well. To experience his albums & videos in order is an experience like no other! As someone who also deals with mental differences, his music, artistry, visuals, etc just hit me.

Thabit Ayob

MIITO truly didn't get a grammy just because not enough people heard of it

Thabit Ayob

I think you'll feel the fun of the album when watching the MVs. It complements the music in terms of showing the playfulness and craziness of mr insanity. Mr insanity is so fun in the mvs lol

Idkmybffki

The video for skins (demo) & limbo are also great to add for any video binges for this era too.

My favourite is "don't go insane" and from MIITO it's so hard because i like all songs soo much, the one i remember is extravaganza, but really each song that comes on the playlist i think "this is the one!!" Lol

PD, the album by itself is amazing, but the MVs are A WHOLE EXPERIENCE, even if you don't film reactions to those you MUST WATCH THEM! Also the OFFICIAL MIITO MOVIE (PART I) is one of the most amazing pieces of art I have ever watched in my life, I can't describe the feelings I felt the first time I watched it, but it just HITS.

I truly believe it’s up there in terms of like: Kendrick Lamar, Daft Punk, Michael Jackson, Silk Sonic in terms one of the best albums and will be one of the best albums to have been released in this decade.

MilleB

You absolutely need to react to his don't go insane MV. It really gives you a real look into his vision

All I can say is that I am a proud owner of all DPR Ian’s discography (and yeah, it feels sick to set those two albums on fire 😅😅). In general the way Ian thinks is so unique! Not just music-wise, but the way his mind is so artistic, it’s beautiful! The only “bad thing” I can say about this album is the fact the album in its physical version doesn’t have any special feature as the previous ones. 😅😅 By feature I mean the packaging. As for example in the digital form Moodswings in This Order has Ian’s face in a broken glass/mirror and in the physical form there is broken mirror as well next to the CD, but obviously you get to see your face in it, so it is basically like “you become the album cover for the moment”

u def have to check out the mvs too!! i loveeee the music videos for don’t go insane and peanut butter & tears

cathy

ah… i thought there would be a kulture study on the MVs accompanying this just like the other LPs. DPR IAN is a highly visual storyteller, so the package just doesn’t seem complete without his MVs as well. i hope you consider reacting to them if you haven’t yet.

Liz

my fave from this album is hard to choose but if i had to id say probs peanut butter and tears. im ADDICTED to the way his voice soars when he says "where iiii've been" and the music video accompanies the song so well it's what i picture when i listen to the song now. from MIITO, my fave song is ballroom extravaganza, closely followed by mood!

ian's discography is filled with movie soundtracks tbh, his music sounds like frikin film structures, i've always said that him and jacob collier are like the geniuses of this era. i agree pd!! this album felt more visual(?), like the synesthetic experience i got from it, i could make a storyboard easily just from the intro, so beautiful, and yeah i still prefer miito as well, is just more my taste, the album sounds like daft punk, joji and electric light orchestra had a child lol, i agree with everything you said, he creates masterpieces, would love to know your thoughts on his mvs as well

Flossie

I had no idea you had synesthesia and see colours when you hear music, I do too! Really enjoyed this reaction, even though I've only heard a view DPR Ian songs. Will have to check out Moodswings into Order

The first thing that popped into my head when I heard "don't go insane" and saw the MV, is how freakin incredible would it be to see DPR Ian collab with Jackson Wang, especially with his Magic Man vibe. They would compliment each other like, well, peanut butter and jelly!
