Rewatching EP 12 and watching Kuroo pregame speech made me realize that Nekoma Kuroo's voice actor is the same actor who plays Gojo! They nearly sound identical

The town where the school of Karasuno is (in real life) is so rural that there's no train station to it. You can only get there by bus. So yeah, that's how little it is. The two shaved head guys are literally called Dragon (Karasuno's Ryuu) and Tiger (Nekoma's Tora). They're fated to be rivals 🤣 There's one more episode and that will be the end of the first cour! (Btw, some episodes have a little epilogue after the ending song. As long as you check how many minutes you have when the ending starts you'll be fine.)

Not sure if you guys noticed, but the voice actor for Kenma voiced Eren. And the voice of Kuro is Gojo. Also, there is a special meaning behind the "battle of the garbage dump." Japan has a crow problem. The crows there are all very huge, mean, territorial, and smart. They are often seen picking at garbage and leaving trash everywhere. There are also a lot of stray cats in Japan too. So it is pretty common to see crows and cats both loitering around garbage, hence that's where the name "battle of the garbage dump" comes from.

As you go through the series you’ll realize that there is no real “antagonist” in Haikyuu. Something that gets expanded on later in the series is that each of these characters are living their own stories. And rather than choosing one or the other, you come to realize that none of the characters are inherently wrong in how they live their lives and what philosophies they carry with them. In the end, they much like us are all just people living in this world. And by simply meeting and interacting, you can come to grow as a person and carry important lessons with you. It’s a very beautiful message conveyed incredibly well through this story

Rewatching this with you guys for like the 97th time reminds me why this is my all-time favorite anime. It's just good vibes and so bingeworthy!
