Quick trivia before I watch this - the bside Addiction was originally supposed to be a possible TripleS title track! When the title track was being decided for the first 'full' group release (which became Rising), there was a fan voting tournament between 8 possible songs, of which we heard the demos for. Addiction was one of the demos! Heejin liked it so much that she requested it for her own album. (of the 8 original demos, all but 2 of them have been released! 5 of them for TripleS, and this 1 for Heejin)

Really been enjoying this album. I agree with your ranking, Video Game is the one I listen to the most but Nokia and Sad Girls Club are just so good.

Algorithm I'm a basic bitch. You give me THOSE synth sounds and I'm sold. It's amazing how much Heejin has evolved in the Seven (ft. Latto) years since Vivid. She has SO MUCH charisma which not only comes through in this song and MV but also in all the interviews I've seen with her for this era. Sad Girls Club A nice slow jam. Very relaxing :) Video Game This is my favourite song on the album! Heejin said in an interview with Umu from ReacttotheK that she wrote the lyrics for that song in an hour while watching TV at like 4 am: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPzaqdFz1HM And I mean, maybe that's the exact state you need to be in in order to come up with those kinds of lyrics Nokia This one sadly doesn't resonate with me that much. Also the first time I'm not that huge on a Park Sohyun song :/ Addiction I think this actually works much better as a Heejin b-side than it would have as a tripleS title track. It's got a very nice groove to it So my ranking of the songs goes like this: 1. Video Game 2. Algorithm 3. Addiction 4. Sad Girls Club 5. Nokia This is a really good album! And it's so great to see the original girl of the month get the EP she has deserved for so long! But I will also say that I personally enjoyed the other three post-Loona albums more. I'll put a ranking of these under the Chuu LP. It's a great album that I like to put on the background to chill but that's it for me. I love Video Game and cherish Algorithm but I just not feel the urge to go back to [K] over and over again But I think I'm biased because Chuu's EP got released few weeks before and it showed what this album could have been. [K] is the "K" of K-pop/food/drama. It's her (+MH) will to "reveal her Korean Charms" and her "ambition to represent K-pop and Korea". And it does ! [K] showcases so well Heejin's skills as a strong soloist, dancer and lyricist. It's a wonderful introduction to Heejin as an idol, and what she can do under Modhaus. But it feels so weird : the songs are so sad (Heejin sang them perfectly), and she DID participate in the lyrics writing process but it doesn't completly feel like hers in some way ? Like Chuu's [EP] come directly from her guts and soul as a base (when Howl/Aliens lyricist shared behinds, they talked about Chuu and share Chuu's letter). Heejin's [EP] seems like she filled with her own touch, as much as she could, something that wasn't hers first ? She was involved at SO many levels, but at the same time it's like she had the last bit of the stick ? She was the one asking to be part of the process, the album didn't start "with her". Some things were already fixed and she had to go "with it" (for ex : the title track and its concept with "Algorithm"). The "Korean princess" concept was already pre-made too. She didn't knew what a "Nokia" was before working on the song. Like I'm so so SO happy that she was FINALLY able to be so invovled in a solo project but I hope her 2nd EP will be from her "own initiative". That she won't just be able to work with things given and imposed to her but that she will be the album center and base. If I make sense and don't sound insane ^^' EDIT : woah sorry for the novel

Video Game has choreo and it’s sooooo good. I love the choreo for Algorithm and Video Game. I definitely suggest checking them out sometime
