YESSSS. I've lost count of the number of times I have watched and re-watched Haikyuu. Edit: By far one of the best sports anime there is. It has a rich plot and is very realistic when it comes to depicting volleyball.

FYI, the “Karasu” from the school’s name “Karasuno” basically means “crows” in Japanese, which is why you keep seeing crows in the OP and later on in the season.

this is anime is soooo good i first watched it back in 2019 and i still think of it as one of my favorites ! it makes volleyball look really cool and epic while still depicting it very realistically and it's such a pure and feel-good show about friendship, trust, self-discovery, hard work and of course the love of sports! also the characters all have interesting storylines i cant wait for you to see the rest

FUN FACT: Haikyuu anime came out in 2014 but was the 4th best selling manga in 2020 (demonslayer was number one that year and jujutsu kaisen was in 5th place. However, in 2021 Jujutsu kaisen took 1st place)

Haikyuu was my first love, even after getting into kpop. This series means so much to me and I’m happy that you guys are finally watching it. If there is one thing I want to say about this series, it’s CHARACTER GROWTH. I absolutely adore all the characters in this show. All the characters have a reason to be there, and I hope that you can enjoy the journeys of them all because the payout of the end makes it all so beautiful

Haikyuu makes me feel super nostalgic because I remember watching the first episode when it aired when I was in high school… like I was around the same age as the characters and I literally grew up with them and then got to see the manga finish as I entered my adult life.

The best part is how the further we get into the seasons, the more it's obvious that everything they say about volleyball feels like (to me) a metaphor about life in general. It's so thought provoking and inspiring and covers so many different personalities and perspectives. Literally not a single character I dislike or hate. Even ppl who I feel like I could never be friends with at first, you're able to grow to see them in a different light and understand them.
