She would see “me mori” which they translated to “I am dead”, but it actually means “I died” or “I’ve died”, which I think would have fit better when we see Myeong-oh die at the same time. I think “I am dead” resonated more for a young Dong-eun, but the actual translation of “I’ve died” feels ironic for Myeong-oh.
