People assume it’s female due to “Mother Nature” and the Japanese voice actor being female, but the English dub’s voice is male, which is why I’m in the agender camp regarding Hanami. Hanami is also a curse, not a human so the concept of human gender doesn’t really apply either. (But most people that ascribe a gender say Hanami is male)

Goddd it’s so much worse knowing that Gojo actually did kill Geto at the end of the movie and that the thing possessing Geto’s body KNEW the one and only way to get Gojo to stand still for one minute was to appear in front of him. On top of the delivery of gojo’s lines that his SOUL knew that he wasn’t geto despite his six-eyes telling him otherwise IM SO DEVASTATED 😭

FINALLY, the cat is out of the bag. In case there is any confusion, Geto's body was taken over after being defeated by Yuta and killed by Gojo in the movie. So the timeline of the story is: 1. the first 5 episodes of season 2: Hidden Inventory in the year 2006-2007, where we learn about Gojo and Geto's past, and how Geto became a curse user and left Jujutsu High. 2. JJK0 movie in year 2017 where Geto orchestrated the Night Parade of 100 Demons. Geto was defeated by Yuta and Gojo finished him off at the end of the movie. 3. Then season 1 was in 2018 followed by season 2's Shibuya Arc. So real Geto was only in the Hidden Inventory Arc and in the Movie. Season 1 and Shibuya arc is fake Geto. The FakeGeto wanted Geto's body not only because of Geto's curse technique but also because of Geto's relationship with Gojo. They needed to seal Gojo and to do that, there were 2 conditions. One to get Gojo tired and on edge which they did by using the 1000 transfigured humans. The second condition was for Gojo to be next to the prison realm for 1 minute and that's why Geto's body is needed, because it was the only thing that could surprise Gojo. This is all so sad and devastating because even after Gojo killed Geto, he was not able to fully finish him off by destroying his body. This would be Gojo's biggest mistake which eventually leads to him being sealed by someone in Geto's body.

To clarify the whole thing with Infinite Void. Gojo quickly activated it for 2/10ths of a second which was a short enough time to allow him to stun everyone there without rendering them completely brain dead. That's why the narrator said it was "limited". After quickly activating and deactivating domain expansion, while everyone was stunned, he used his physical strength and speed to kill every transformed human in the area within 299 seconds. So he did not kill those 1000 transfigured humans in 2/10ths of a second like some people have thought. Also with the whole 1 minute thing. It only has to be the equivalent of 1 minute mentally for the target. The manga makes that more clear with the narrator stating "And then it all came flowing into his brain, three years of his youth" Ya'll probably picked up on these things, but there have been some common misconceptions and I just wanted to have everything clear just in case.

loved how the author built up this moment, gojo is probably one of the best written characters of the series. the way they started this reminding us how literally every person close to gojo sees him as "the strongest" and barely as something more than that, he's so lonely without geto, who was the only person that tried to share that tittle with him and was a constant reminder that even if he's a sorcerer and the chosen one by the six eyes, he's still a human. in the hidden inventory arc, they showed us how geto was always checking on him, giving lectures about how gojo should treat ppl with more kindness, etc, trying to make him connect with his human side more while also being his friend! no other person has done that for gojo, that's why geto is his "one and only" (quote from gojo in the volume 0 movie). this is why it literally took him years to get courage to kill him, the only weakness that we can find in gojo is his humanity that is represented in his bond with geto, this topic has been shown in the past with yuji too, when todo was helping him to improve we see how the only thing that is stoping him to go higher is his emotions, yuji is one of the only characters that didn't grow up in a environment of sorcerers, he was raised as a normal human, thats why he's the best representation of the struggle that sorcerers carry with them, to execute your power, to get stronger and to use your cursed energy at its best, you need to get rid of your emotions, and its proven in this episode with the fake geto plan. in my opinion, the beauty of jujutsu kaisens writing resides in how much we can learn from tragedy, theres a few comedy reliefs here and there but still, this show is devastating af, a good comparison in contrast is probably mob psycho! i tried my best to express myself well but i apologize in advance if theres any grammar mistake haha😭, this chapter in the manga is what made me fall in love with jjk, thanks for the reaction!

Thank you for explaining. I am confused with one thing. I found out there was a manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which was meant to be the prequel (to the on going Jujutsu Kaisen manga) right from the beginning, basically it has just 4 chapters and then the “Shippūden of Jujutsu Kaisen” starts 😅 Originally I thought the movie is just an adaptation (of a few manga chapters from the ongoing manga series), which were focused on the prequel story/flashbacks. Basically the way it is done with Kimetsu no Yaiba. So… why didn’t they release the movie before the show started? To make it the same way as the mangas were released. I mean… wouldn’t it be better to watch the movie first and then start the show? Since that’s the way the mangas were planned

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was released in 2017 as a 4 chapter stand-alone series. It was actually titled "Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical High School." I think at that time, there was no plan from the author or Shounen Jump to make it into a long series. It was just a single-volume story and that's it. But then a little while later, the story was popular and received approval for serialization and I believe that is when the author was able to plan an entire story around that world (JJK0). Now to answer your question, it is uncommon to release a movie first before the actual show in the anime world. Because without hype from the series, the movie would flop. Mappa could've added JJK0 into season 1 of the show but unless they tell us, we would never know why it wasn't. Personally, I like that season 1 came out first and then the movie, even if the timeline got a little confusing to follow along. I like how Yuta was mentioned throughout season 1 even though we never met him. It creates hype and expectation for the movie.

Oh! So the mangaka didn’t plan those 4 chapters to have a sequel in the form of Jujutsu Kaisen manga series. I am aware that “the series based movies” are not usual made before the show starts. But on the other hand the manga series was already popular, so I was assuming releasing the movie first would get its attention from the fans
