TWICELIGHTS in SEOUL (Patreon)

Due to the concert being 3hrs long and making the video file size too big, we had to change the export settings to be able to upload directly to Patreon (they have a file size limit). Quality should not be affected but if you have trouble here is a backup link [uploading atm] of the concert!

So there's their first tour "Manifesto" which the Seoul concert was streamed and subbed. Then this tour they're currently on is "Fate" and they've streamed the Seoul and Japan concerts. I can get links and add them here soon!

As someone who saw TWICELIGHTS and Ready To Be, the growth is INSANE. They were already singing live and going all out in TWICELIGHTS but I think they’re all generally healthier and happier now and it shows on stage. Context: TWICELIGHTS in Seoul was literally like a little more than a month before Mina took her mental health hiatus, so she was probably feeling not great here either. And then when she came back, Jeongyeon’s hiatus occurred not soon after and she couldn’t really go all out on their 4th World Tour. The Ready To Be tour (5th World Tour) was, like, breathtaking because you could FEEL how confident the girls were in themselves individually and as a group, especially since it was post-contract renewal.

Feel Special was actually released during the tour. The Seoul performance was in May. Feel Special was released in September. Feel Special was only on the Japanese set list, since that leg of the tour was after the comeback. Mina was on hiatus and ONCE were shining her color on our Candy Bongz during After Moon. The fan theory is that they took those lights and utilized them in her scenes in Feel Special, to show the fan support.

To add a little bit of extra context regarding Sana’s ending message, she had just weeks prior to this concert been HOUNDED by Korean netizens because of an IG post she made regarding Japan entering a new era (Hesei era ending) and she likely then saw all the ONCE coming to her defense (over something that shouldn’t even have been controversial).

(That goes also for every other Twice Content that exists) I can share with you the Beyond Live "Restream" of this years Seoul Ready to be Concert (the restream has improved audio, visual quality and better camera angles than the "live" livestream on Beyond live.) Is it possible to share via DM or any other way? Or only here in the comments?

PD, I was wondering if you would watch fan-taken concert videos because for the 4th world tour (the one after this one) dates in Seoul and Japan, they couldn't shout and I know you liked hearing the fans. In the same realm, do you want fully online concerts like World in a Day(2020)? Also, would you want the link to the fan meeting that they did on the 21st? They sang and performed a couple of songs (covers too!) but they also played some games. I found all the recent concerts but I see other people have sent it so if one doesn't work lmk I'll send you the links!

twice is seriously on a different level in terms of concert experience + performance (as expected of the nation's gg). I was so lucky to have been able to see them in LA for their ready to be tour and honestly you can really tell that they have a passion for their music and its just so evident that they are one of the best at what they do. To think that twicelights was such a high quality concert yet this was only them halfway through their current career is insane to think about

Definitely would suggest checking out their Ready To Be concert from this year. I watched the Beyond Live version at Seoul and I also saw them live at SoFi in California and it was really great. It’s my 3rd time seeing them and I think it was definitely my favorite. I think overall the girls really all are able to have a lot of fun on stage, even the members that might be considered more reserved. Also at the Ready To Be concert they all had solo stages which was super cool to see

The MR from Be as One is originally Japanese, so that might be why it had to go. BDZ as well, but it was a bit differently arranged.

I also went to this concert but in Chicago and watching this back, I had the same reactions. Felt like it was a completely different show

Saw the Ready To Be show in the Philippines, and all I can say is right when they came out for sound check, I was already in tears. Amazing :')

Re-watching this again here with you guys, and hearing Sana's speech hit a lil bit harder knowing that this was the year when Sana "almost lost her smile". I can even see Tzuyu looking at Sana listening attentively as the same shit happened to her a few years back. Both of them should have not been made to apologize publicly for saying what their heart wanted to say about their citizenship and anything relating to it. It's just sad that we do live in a world where there is freedom of speech but not enough freedom to speak what we want as well.
