Every Twice concert go to see live, I keep walking out feeling like Jihyo carried the entire thing hahaha, I used to be a Momo bias when I wasn't too invested in group, but Jihyo stage performance energy and stadium encompassing voice stole me away

Luckily though, the READY TO BE concert tour stops were all 3 hours long. I was SHOCKED at what time it was when I was leaving the venue because time FLEW and it didn’t feel like or look like it was significantly longer.

I loved the reaction, I knew you were gonna like the ending ment and the 2x heartshaker. The last part of the concert with the daesang feels like onces sent their kids off to college (first world tour) and its so precious. You could probably borrow one of your onces's's Beyond Live account to watch the 8th anniversary video once the VOD is up. (Regarding new stuff) You also "need" to watch Chaeyoung's and Dahyun's solos from RTB tour.

2023-10-23 00:55:40 they just had their 8th anniversary fanmeeting and they said multiple times that they want to keep performing till their old and its their 25th anniversary. So you're not wrong that they'll be together for as long as they can♡

I truly hope 5th gen is the last we hear of bad company situations, I would say across the board the major companies have had to step it up but I still see the mentality of RESTRICTIVE dieting and having to stick to a arbitrary WEIGHT (muscle weighs more than fat idk how many times this SCIENCE has to be reiterated!!), like I think it’s moving in the right direction of giving the trainees tools of how to exercise and implement their own self discipline but you still saw it with Le Sserafim predebut where they had to lose a certain amount of weight rather than be focused on hey can you do enough cardio to keep up with the choreo you will be doing+smaller companies that think they can get a cash in on the K-pop market but not being regulated/watched enough to stop abusive financial or emotional etc behaviors—again artists winning COURT CASES (small and big) have been the marker in better treatment bc now these companies will be held accountable and unfortunately idols have had to build the courage to be open about the ongoing problems: ive been around since 3rd gen and have been OVERJOYED to see the upward trend but still hoping for that final stretch of more

such a hard agree on what you said about dahyun, her sincere love for onces has always been so evident in everything she does, from her melody projects on her birthday (as a gift to onces), to her speeches/ments. they are always so sincere and heartfelt. im not saying that the other members love for onces isnt sincere but there's just something different about dahyun. i noticed it for the first time when i watched this exact concert a few months after i had watched Sixteen (the survival show they were formed from). I guess you'd understand a little if you've watched sixteen but from the very beginning she was loved by many fans and was very popular before debuting. i think through that show and what she went through, she personally got to understand very early on what love from fans feels like and was able to cherish that feeling for the rest of her career. it just always feels like she wants to give back double the love she has received.

thoroughly enjoyed your reaction and am so happy you found the experience to be so emotional! This show happened in 2019, so about 1.5 years before jeongyeon had to sit out some schedules. Another thing that puts Sana's ending talk into more context is that this show happened shortly after she was publicly criticized for making an Instagram post regarding the start of a formalized new era in Japan (eras in Japan being marked by the rules of the Japanese emperor). The post was made with the intention of being reflective on the passage of time (basically saying she worked hard in the previous era and wanted to continue to work hard in the new era). However the Korean general public largely interpreted it as her praising the Japanese emperor and they accused her of being a right wing japanese nationalist (mind you, the korean prime minister at the time also publicly congratulated Japan on the new era). the situation was terrible and it was all happening during fancy promotions and sana was often seen visibly crying or hiding herself. Her ending talk at the concert was also to address the controversy and apologize. But at the time it really hurt to see how distraught she was

I enjoyed watching it with both of you again! I became a Kpop fan and specially a once on 2020 during the pandemic and I have to say one of the things that helped me with what it looked like this new world (I used to listen mainly rock/metal bands) was your channel because it was nice to have the perspective of someone that appreciate the art and the artist and one of my first twice video was actually your reaction to more & more… that low-key was what started for me to get into them… I would personally recommend watch one of the latest world tour Ready to be… because the Seoul concert of the 4th tour (the 2022one) didn’t have Jeongyeon, she was for the rest of the tour but not the Seoul one… and that’s always the one they stream through beyond… but it’s up to you because I know you really liked the formula of love album and the tour that has as main focus that album is the 4th world tour (2022) Thanks for taking the 3 hrs and I’m glad Blaire also enjoyed it.

Thank you both for the concert reactions! :)) Honestly I appreciate you appreciating the girls beyond the surface level. You relating and rediscovering them on a different level is just so satisfying. I don’t comment here often but just want to say thank you PD for the time and effort for these reactions. Special shout-out to Blair for your calm and collectiveness throughout it too :)) somehow your presence makes me appreciate the other people in my life who journey with me (close or afar) in kpop as well lol Loved your comment.
