I had the honor. The privilege of experiencing this live at Lolla. The energy was insane for a group only a year in. Heck, even their merch lines had taken up the center of the whole park. Watching them on stage, time flew by so quickly and they seemed so natural being there. I'm pretty sure the only song they hadn't performed in their discography was Zero or something. By the end though, I felt like I had experienced like a musical cleanse -- my spirit ascended.

Their own content is called New Zine if you want to watch that! It's similar to Leniverse in a way. - They also have videos of their Recordings of _ where they have bts of them recording their tracks. You can definitely experience their raw vocals there!

I've fallen so in love with New Jeans, their set was amazing! I would recommend watching New Zine their reality show, but first, I'd suggest watching their Human Theater episode since it's more recent. Personally I have a hard time getting into rookie groups (especially when the members are this young) and I feel the first few episodes of New Zine are harder to watch if you don't know the members' personalities already. They really loosen up after a couple of episodes (which is totally normal for a rookie group) and their dynamics and personalities shine through in the later episodes. Whatever you guys decide to do, I'm glad you're getting into them :)

as someone that was in the crowd, HUGE props to nwjns for putting on such an amazing performance & on top of the heat that day, it was probably 90+ degrees & you were LUCKY to get even the smallest breeze. Dani's energy was seriously amazing & she really was able to shine that day

yes the girls are all quite comfortable with english! of course dani and hanni speak english fluently as they’re from australia, but minji studied in canada for a few months and she’s quite fluent as well, and haerin and hyein also speak it and understand it well. in their content you see that they often switch to english in the middle of a sentence or conversation hahahah

also hanni wrote on their app called phoning (they use it instead of weverse) after lolla to thank everyone and express her feelings and said that she felt incredibly nervous but once they were on stage they all relaxed and had so much fun. she said they were expecting to perform to a crowd that didn’t really know them since it was their US debut but they were so surprised by all the fans there singing along

They're insane live performers but it's so hard for me to explain why. They just bring the spectacle, hype and energy without even needing the fireworks or set pieces. They've really mastered whatever the newjeans formula is, because even people around me (of all age ranges) who aren't even into kpop are following and listening to them. I'm so proud of them for this set and can't wait to see their growth throughout their career.

I believe you know Danielle, Hanni and Haerin. The ones you were missing are the leader Minji and the giant maknae Hyein (tied with Hanni for my favourite voice in NWJNS, how does a fifteen year old sing like that?!?) You totally should check out IU's Palette ("cause holy shit" is correct :D)

THIS! When I got into them just recently (around April or May) the first content I watched was their reality show in Busan and Jeans Zine and did not fully appreciate those the first watch. I slowly got deeper and deeper in love with their whole dynamics as time goes on and idk if the Jeans Zine episodes just got better in quality or I am just getting more invested with them so I appreciate their content more. I rewatched their Busan trip last week and HOLY HELL I never remembered it being that fun the first time I watched it. So I agree that it's better to get tidbits and a taste of their dynamics before diving into their exclusive content

"Finally now! It's my time!~" - PD probably after watching this lollapalooza performance. You know, I strongly believe we all start liking something or getting into a group at the perfect time, always. Sometimes earlier and sometimes later. Music always comes to us when we need it the most! NewJeans took my heart by the storm. They were the group that I needed the most back then. It was just meant to be. I never felt something like this before since I got into K-Pop. I always liked groups, I loved their music and it's an important part of my life, but what NewJeans did to me is something I never felt before. I think everyone has that one group, you know what I mean! :D

Hyein’s voice is my favorite as well! I’ve never had a bias younger than me but there’s something about her voice and stage presence that just satisfies something in my brain in a way I can’t describe.

we were making bets in the crowd what they would open with and i never imagined it would be Hype Boy. but it was so crazy to see them live and even though it doesn't pick up much on the stream, i was close to the front so i could hear the entire crowd and it was LOUD LOUD, especially in my vid i have of ETA everyone was just screaming LMAO (i ended up losing my voice for two days) also the bass in Cool With You was hitting live, could feel it deep in the chest

I just have to say watching PD fall deeper into newjeans in real time has been amazing😭😭 im like THATS HOW I FEEL!! i also don’t know if you know this but lollapalooza was their first ever performance and promotion in the US.. with that crowd and that energy! i say this because i know you mentioned last time how ADOR seems to “protect them” and it’s very true since the girls are so young, they don’t do the normal promo schedule of a rookie kpop group like they only do about a week of music shows and very specific outside variety shows.. but when they promote they promote BIG. This was also their first big performance other than their first fanmeeting they had in may. I hope you can check out more of their end of the year stages and variety content!!!

Adding to number 7. I really recommend "New Zips", there are like 6-7 episodes of their very first small trip after debut promotions ended, it also includes in the first episode a bit of their first event with Channel, their first music show win, and how staff tells them they are gonna have a trip after promotions ended.
