hey pd, this is not a new release but i hope you can check out woodz’s recent mini album “oo-li” when you get the chance. it was released on april but it seems like it completely missed your radar at that time. i highly recommend his b-side “drowning” which also has a live clip (if that’s is of any interest to you). your hard work is always much appreciated!!

I would def recommend to react to more Kang Seung Yoon, he has numerous fantastic solo live performances: he was on Masked Singer, Immortal Songs and Begin Again to name a few.

Also a fellow desert liver here who abhores the heat. Can't wait for the archive! And I'm really looking forward to the Lollapalooza reactions as someone who was there in person!! You mentioned how NewJeans sounds like they're always live or always on a master recording, and I think a big part of that is their songs sounding so fresh and similar like you mentioned. All of the songs, all of the parts, suit their individual vocal range so well. They're not trying to belt or do all these crazy notes, but it's impressive how technically great they are when they're singing in their comfort zone. I think it's all done on purpose too because hearing their more natural voices or tone feels so refreshing and cleansing. As a long time viewer, I am one of those who enjoy your silly little ramblings and random musings! Hearing something so random just further emphasizes how honest and refreshing your takes are and it keeps me engaged and thinking about whatever it is you're commenting on. Plus, I don't really watch other content creators who comment or react to k-pop media knowing as much about the culture or context of the industry and others artists as you, so I feel like I'm always learning something new.

Yeah I thought they were doing Patreon stuff on Tuesdays and Youtube stuff on Wednesdays, but I think this week is kind of a PD's pick week where they'll react to other stuff so it may not follow the same schedule

Great discussions - it was a really enjoyable listen. Just wish that in future you could maybe explore more of Blaire's thoughts. I feel like there were many instances where she made a good comment that could've led to an interesting discussion but it wasn't discussed or acknowledged.

Always down for some Kang Seung-Yoon supremacy. I find most of the great singers in k-pop prefer more ballad type songs, think Chen, Kyuhyun, etc... But SeungYoon tends more towards rock. And I love that. The amount of YB covers he has done is just 🤌 Btw Winner also has a Tipsy Live of "I love you". Just all the more examples of KSY singing that entire song unedited

I'm sad about what you felt about watching girl group variety content, If you don't connect with a group content it's fine but I don't think you should think too much of it, especially about what you gain from it ? If that makes you feel good or happy than that's about it. I personally don't really think about the gender of a group when I watch content, it's either I like their chemistry or how funny the group can be regardless if it's a boygroup or a girlgroup but maybe that's just me haha

For your final question: I enjoy the podcasts and I like watching you because although I don’t know you personally, it almost feels like I’m watching a friend review/discuss the same things I like. I have friends that are interested in certain Kpop groups but I like many different groups and I can tell you make an effort to react to many groups. You also almost always put a positive vibe to your reactions when I feel like other areas of Kpop (Twitter/TikTok) can be very negative and toxic. It feels like a safe space here and I can trust that you can give constructive criticism without bashing/canceling a group/artist.
