2023-07-27 13:17:59 🤔🤔 is this their best album?? I don’t know, it’s really hard to say, but it is the one with the most replay value! I mean, for me I Feel is like Love Never Dies by TNX to you! It’s not like I wouldn’t listen to their full albums before, but this one goes from the start to the end nearly every time I press the play button to play Queencard! My favorite track is All Night and one interesting thing regarding this song. Yuqi originally recorded it and composed it in English. During one stream of hers she played its demo with her voice singing all the lines and it was fully English. That’s why is WooSeok credited there as well, because he helped her with the translation to Korean. And that brought me one question into my mind. Is there any reason why it is easier for her to write songs in English and then translate them to Korean? I mean it from the perspective of her not being an English native speaker. I would get that if she wrote those songs in Chinese and then she would translate them to Korean. But based on her solo songs, she prefers to write in English in general

My assumption is she listens to a lot of English/western songs and has a better feel for writing than if she were to write in Chinese.

But you're absolutely right about the Big Bang analogy of having all your members feel like soloists. From debut, Idle has always been very keen on embracing its members' individuality. I think Soyeon & Soojin very clearly stood out in Latata & Hann eras, then Miyeon & Minnie came into their own... Yuqi & Shuhua have been growing with every comeback, but really exploded out in Tomboy & Nxde. It's really cool that each member has such a distinct personality on-stage and in their music.... Some SPOILERS for their current tour, but they each have solo stages that are just so distinct from one another. Very cool to see.
