I think you would also really enjoy San's cover of Breathe by Lee Hi (https://youtu.be/6wyM0yuK5dM) I remember you once saying you saw San more in the performer role that in the vocalist role (as opposed to Yunho) but I feel like again this solo cover shows more of his ability... totally agree with you on the point that Ateez is a group, where the group comes first but I feel like with them steadily gaining more recognition and marking their spot in the industry they will show more of their individual colors... I really hope one day they'll go the "BTS solo track" route and have individual or unit songs on their albums/ might even release solo or unit albums... but I think that'll come in the future when their group activities settle down more... again Thank you so much for the reactions!

On another note... because it's been a hot second since we've seen an Ateez variety content reaction... Ateez also have been on 1N2D (twice now) and the concept for this comeback's episodes *3 parts was just too funny (https://youtu.be/Qykl7vDHHsA), also Ateez on Idol Human Theater was comedic gold with Wooyoung in the center of whatever the hell was going on there and of course as I have mentioned Ateez have their own Youtube Variety show "Wanteez" which I can fully recommend but especially the 찜질방 (ep 17-18), drinking (ep 19-21)and health checkup (ep 9-10) episodes were just hilarious!

During the live I couldn't comment cause I dont have twitch but I wanted to mention the singers that came to my mind during Jonghos solo Immortal Song performance when you asked if there were any others who just naturally have that voice. Junsu, JaeJoong, Kihyun, and Chen all come to mind! There are def more like Taeil, Doyoung, JK, Seoho, Eunkwang, Changsub, Yoseob... there are just so many amazing talented artists in kpop which is why I love it so much!

Watching you two watch Jongho on Immortal Songs was hilarious. I also hope to see Jongho belt those notes in his 70s. THAT will be legendary.

What a wonderful video drop! I love Jongho when he gets cocky, too, mostly because I feel like there are quiet, small moments in his life where he really _does_ feel as good as he is, but I suspect most of the time he feels as though there's that much more to do to go where he wants to go. I often forget how young he is, because he doesn't act that young, and he doesn't perform that young, either. He's truly a cheat code. In writing that, I also realized that ALL of ATEEZ are cheat codes in different ways. Take Yeosang giving us literally breathtaking soft ballad vocals and then eating up a CBX track. San's demon performance mastery juxtaposed with his enormous vocal talents. Yunho's dance skills and an underrated vocal tone and range that has soooo much more to give. Seonghwa with his vocals, dance skills, and performance abilities. Even Mingi, who is so often looked down on for not being an outright vocal is an excellent writer, an incredible rapper, and an outstanding dancer. Wooyoung showed his vocals on the IS performance, and they're easy to overlook for his bubbly personality in combination with his own dance abilities. And Hong Joong is the definition of an all-arounder, particularly for not having come into the group with a deep knowledge of dance, he's become a DANCER in addition to everything else. Just drop any one of them into a different scenario and they're going to shine, as we've seen from Yunho's acting and Idol Radio hosting, Hong Joong's solo work, Yeosang's hosting, San and Seonghwa acting, and Jongho acting! ATINYs lack for nothing from their group, except more from them, and there are so many hours in a day! I think Blaire is exactly right about training the voice to do certain things, and then pushing the voice to do certain things. Pushing is always possible, it's just ideal long-term, and I think Jongho does recognize what long-term looks like for him. That he idolizes vocal legend Kihyun tells me that he's trying to build a stable platform, not just a momentary tower, and I commend him for it.

"It gets to a point where I'm starting to worry about the integrity of Jongho's voice" I got worried last year during the Beginning of The End tour but since then, it shows he has continually worked on his technique because his voice is way more solid than it used to be. edit: Now, going with lower notes would definitely help in ensuring he keeps on performing live for a long time, but that's still reassuring to see he's refining his skills so he can hit those high notes more comfortably
