Oh! It’s one big video, I thought there would be many shorter ones, but that’s not important… the main thing I wanted to say is: “Yuqi with that guitar!! 😻😻👏🏽👏🏽🤤🤤” I had to find that part and skip to that, before watching the rest of your reaction, I replayed that moment on my own so many times! Properly promoted rocker Yuqi’s solo is the thing I need in Kpop!

Thank you for this PD, it is a long reaction and you must be tired but you still do this all for us, thank you again. I don't know if you will react to SBS Gayo as it is the newest one but I hope you do cause the performances and cover and collab there are one of the best of all this year. LSRF is really becoming one of the best 4th gen performers, in this particular stage they did not use any VCR, and even during their pre-recorded dance break, they decided to perform it live for the audience there, they're moving nonstop there. Their concept and performance are always insane, it's also thanks to their performance director, especially with the vision she has that she realized in LSRF's SBS Gayo, she really has a big influence on LSRF and their performance you can see they're really close from their interview. I do recommend their dance practices as they put out for all their award show performances and it's so much better with the steady or more focused cam, you can see the line and visual effect from their dance.

le sserafim debuted not long ago and they are already this good, their stage presence is insane I can only imagine how much they're gonna improve over the years if they just had their first comeback and they're giving performances like this, especially yunjin, she always catches my eye!

Now that I’ve watched my favorite performances of the night we’re TXT, LE SSERAFIM, and Gidle. TXT and LE SSERAFIM deserved their best performance awards 100%. I highly recommend their dance practices. Especially TXT since the camerawork sucked. I love how they told their story so far, where they currently are at, and gave us a preview of where we are going with the next chapter. Also I’m excited to see your reaction during the dance practice cause Taehyun is having that moment you were talking about 👀 and the camera/outfit didn’t do it justice in the live lol

This award show was just a HYBE concert. Likeee… did MMA beef JYPE and SM or something? 🤣 oh and ATBO is under IST - VICTON, THEBOYZ, WEEEEKLY company. So the budget was a surprise.

i really really hope you watch the dance practices for txt's award show performances like you said because the camerawork was pretty poor and they had some difficulties with props as well. it all comes together really cleanly in the dance practices though! idk if you have all the bonus drops planned already but if you're looking for something txt-related to film, i personally would love to hear your thoughts about the dance practices <3 hope you're doing well!

Oh boy PD missing out on the insane charting numbers Lim Young Woong did this year. His success really shows just how much some companies are forgetting the importance of domestic success as well as international success. I think his album sold 940,000 copies in a single day in korea which rivals the numbers BTS can do domestically.

Still watching but just real quick about the IVE performance: That was a mix of real fireworks (the camera just didn't quite catch it, it went off on and around the stage) and fake/AR ones - those being the ones in the later parts of the chorus until the very end. So, the smoke was still real from the actual firework as the final chorus started. Not that this is really important or anything, just wanted to mention it :D

Yay! I hope everything is okay on your end, PD!! 🥺 I just remembered the US is having some bad, bad weather currently so I hope you guys aren't too affected. MMA had real good stages this year! STAYC's costumes were soo pretty and I loved the vibe of the whole scene and song, but MAN, that camerawork was so bad I couldn't focus 😔 Idk Enhyphen really, but that solo (THE WINGS!!!) then the dance got me like 👀👀 I love that NewJeans got to perform all 3 songs! Attention was def my favorite of the three - I agree about the squad, they were very cool (I'm a sucker for that white and blue aesthetic they had, esp. in contrast with the mostly-black outfits of the girls.) Le Sserafim have gone HARD for the end of the year performances. (I've been getting a huge BTS vibes with those btw.) The transition dance part where they do the snake figure was SO COOL, and the "mess in distress" audio?? Amazing, 10/10. IVE are absolute monsters - that intro and dance break, and the stage itself, were crazyyy. I liked the dancers being in black, it gave depth but made the members stand out more than they would've if they were all in white. And the GUITAR at the end of After LIKE 🤘 I've got only about quarter of an idea what TXT's whole lore deal is, but I liked the whimsical start. I loved the dubstep dance and the black outfit change tho :P GBGB is one of my favorites and they absolutely delivered the performance for it, plus the dance break was killer! G-idle have absolutely been nuts this year. Nxde might be my favorite cb from a gg this year and I really loved how grand the stage was. And the GUITAR??? I don't know her name but that was cool as hell. I think I might love the rock arrangement of Tomboy more than the original, which is saying something hahaha. I hadn't heard Monsta X's song but WOW they slayed. SO good, and the Jazz really gave it a unique feel (I assume the original song doesn't sound like that) and then the swerve into that hard, anthem-like sound was so good. IVE also won Best Female Group and Melon Top 10! :D And the Rookie of the Year award was shared with NewJeans. Thank you so much for the reaction, PD!!

This Year was my first Year of KPOP Award Shows. I watched the MMA and MAMA Awards Live. And damn they both are really amazing! Great Reaction and i cant wait for the other ones ;)

I really hope you check out AAA (that was the only year end show Seventeen attended so far) and I am not sure but I think that's the only one &team performed on as well. I like girl groups but I find it difficult to dive deep into stanning them, the closest one is probably Red Velvet beacuse I really like their music, but lately Le Sserafim is really pulling me in! The charisma and stage presence of these girls and not to mention their b-sides. 4th gen ggs this year is really insane.

For me, Soyeon including in her rap “I like to sex” was probably more shocking than them including the F bomb. We’ve seen idols curse before but they essentially never talk about sex.

Enhypen absolutely BODIED their year end performances. like DAMN honestly wasn't expecting them to do so much considering they just got back from a tour. I always look forward to year end shows solely because we get so many covers and dance breaks. MMA and MAMA were probably my least favorite performances not because they were bad but because the other ones were so insanely good. Like jaw dropping good. Super excited to see your reaction of the rest of their performances! (also about the camera work on Niki's part during PTM- I'm glad I'm not the only one who found that very very weird because he JUST turned 17... he's still a kid)

mma's camerawork had some iffy moments, but overall I was reasonably satisfied... especially in comparison to mama (that one really had some wth are you DOING moments) I hope you also react to kbs and sbs gayo, because they're even better than both mma and mama imo! enha completely slayed - their dance breaks are always so so so good. their dance practices for each of these year-end shows are just *chefs kiss*

hybe groups are actually insane like they don't come to play! shout out to their performance directors! I definitely recommend the txt dance practice bc they actually had a bit of a misshap w beomgyu's prop but he covered it up so well no one even noticed anything till they posted the practice

The behind the scenes stuff that ppl were posting was just showing them being so proud and happy for IVE and Hyungwon was crying along with the girls!! I couldn't help but tear up during IVE's acceptance speech for SOTY, also if you get time to check out in your free time I would look at their MAMA SOTY acceptance speech too! It was extremely emotional and especially seeing Wonyoung tear up hit hard

This is gonna probably be a bit of a weird thing to point out but.... Can I just say how much I love the fact that when NewJeans wears short skirts that may ride up while performing, their protection shorts underneath are basically a step a way from being the same length as biker shorts? Sometimes they are a bit shorter but then again I haven't seen them wear the type of shorts female idols usually wear, which barely give any kind of protection from slip-ups. Now, I don't care what people wear in general but having seen idols visibly uncomforable in the past with their skirts riding up with barely any protection underneath.... That's something I do have a problem with. It's a small detail, but I can imagine it makes performing so much more comfortable, especially considering the age of the girls. It also creates opportunities to create looks that incorporate the shorts into them (which they have done many times already)!
