Pretty boys is so insanely good I've been super obsessed with the song ever since I first listened to it! But in general this is such a solid debut mini album and it just makes me even more excited to see her grow as an artist and what she further brings to the table

smiley, lxxk 2 u & pretty boys are my holy trinity of january 2022. i've listened to these songs an unhealthy amount of times. such a solid debut album, can't wait to see yena's evolution as a soloist. also before anyone else is a fan song!

Just a bit of info on Before Anyone Else. Yena admits this in the showcase interview. This is her favorite song. Because she wrote the lyrics thinking about her fans specifically wiz*ones. She sneaked her memories with wiz*ones in the lyrics. So the fandom analyze the lyrics and they think there multiple iz*one song titles in the lyrics. But listen the song and try connecting the lyrics to wiz*ones. You'll might like the song more.

Finally, the long-awaited listening party its kinda disappointing though that you're not reacting to the live stages, I personally really love this ep and it is really diverse also her voice range is incredible and it feels like it sing by a few different people, especially in pretty boys. Really happy that smiley is still on the chart and climbing up still, also yena got her first win in mcountdown. Got a few notes for your reaction. Before Anyone Else - It's actually not just a love song, but it's a song Yena write and composed for her fans especially Wizone, the lyrics also contain a few IZONE title songs like destiny etc. Lxxk 2 U - maybe you can react to the performance video on her youtube channel since as far as I can see it is using real instruments but I don't know if it's real or not, but the performance is great cause it's hit hard and as the comment before, it's very anti-smiley. Her live vocal in music shows is also amazing. Also i think majority people like Lxxk 2 u and pretty boys in this ep, for me it's: Lxxk 2 u Pretty boys smiley before anyone else vacay

Yena was my izone bias and honestly her album exceeded my expectation ! I was a bit concerned when her company announced that she will go solo, after seing all the ex produce idol debuting solo not a lot of them are successful today... Ollipop is becoming one of my favorite producer in kpop and every yuehua entertainment artist are all releasing quality stuff in my opinion (they also never miss in terms of music video). Pretty boys is definitely my favorite songs but i really enjoy every track and Smiley is doing so well in k-chart it even reached the top 10 of melon which I didn't see it coming. Very excited for her future in music and variety lol

For me personally this is my favorite album/EP that dropped this year so far. I was never really into IZ*One so I didn’t know what to expect and I got a sound from this album that is exactly what I like. So I hope for the future they keep evolving this kind of sound for her. If I had to rank the songs it would be 1. Smiley 2. Lxxk 2 U 3. Pretty Boys 4. Vacay 5. Before Anyone Else

I enjoyed this listening party. My favourites were Smiley and Pretty Boys. I've really been enjoying her stages for Smiley on the various music shows ( last weeks MCountdown one was a homage to the Netflix series All of Us are Dead) and I was so happy when she won her first trophy for the song as well (also M Countdown). I'm really excited for the next listening party since I know that it's Max Changmin's 2nd EP Devil.

As a huge fan of Lxxk To U, when this EP first came out, and I heard this song, I have had it one repeat since then. PD, I wondered if you could recommend songs or artists to check out from that era you mentioned female rock bands. I would love to get into some music with a similar vibe.

Yena wrote "Before Anyone Else" for WIZ*ONE that's why it's a love song that she'll always put her original fandom first - the lyrics were for us <3
