If you want to listen to their older b-sides "Midnight Road" is probably SF9's most iconic one. It's part of the Mama Mia mini album. But Rumination is the perfect album for a first time listener cause it portrays their soundscape and musical identity so well. Personally I've been listening to Dreams followed by Gentleman on repeat.

Thank you for this, PD! A few years ago, I went a little crazy and blindly bought most of SF9's discography b/c I was doing a cross-country roadtrip and boy, was that one of the best decisions I've ever made! If you check out more SF9, please please do a listening party for RPM!! It's hands down my favorite mini album they've ever done. Like, all these years later and I STILL listen to most of those bsides on a weekly basis. You absolutely cannot go wrong with the Sensuous and Narcissus albums either though. I went into iTunes to check before recommending and literally all the songs on both albums are hearted lol. And IS "Midnight Road" my favorite SF9 bside of all time?? ....probably. All the more reason to check out the Mamma Mia! album hehe.

this was such an amazing album :') they have some great gems. as said by other comments the RPM album is amazing and i also loveeee their single album special history book and their first collection album.

I stan a lot of groups but SF9 and Dreamcatcher are the only groups for whom I have no skip for all their albums. They performed Dreams during their concert last weekend and it was just insane. Inseong and Youngbin also performed "On and On" after announcing they were enlisting so every fantasy and the SF9 members cried buckets of tears. And we've been hearing "For Fantasy" for at least 2 years during Zuho's vlives, so I'mm glad that he was finally able to release it. For me this album is the perfect mix of their 1st full album "First collection" and their 7th mini album "RPM". Which are my 2 favorites albums. And the song "Go High" that you mentioned is one of Zuho's song from their 8th mini album "9lorUS".

if you have the time (and will) you could make a diving deeper into SF9's discography. they have some of the greatest b-sides i've ever heard. Go High, Fire and Love No. 5 are some of my favorites and even older stuff like Just On My Way and Jungle Game are so fun 😊😊

Wow I really enjoy this album so much! All of the songs are no skip! I enjoy listening to Memory the most! As someone who is new to SF9, they keep on mesmerising me more and more after watching them on Kingdom. Their vocalists are all very talented and have distinct sound, but I gotta say I really love Rowoon’s tone so much! Such an underrated vocalist! And I really love Hwiyoung’s voice as well, he always sounds good and catch my attention during his parts. Overall , SF9 is such an underrated kpop group! I really think they could have achieved so much more as a kpop group than now.

I’m so glad you loved the album! I saw a comment where someone explained their soundscape as elegant edm I think that description explains them so well! They have this mature elegance that I think they have been cultivating in their title tracks and they found it as their superpower in Kingdom. The maturity and gentlemanliness they have is not forced either. Elegant and polished is how I would describe them as a group and it is encapsulated in this album for me. My favs are definitely Gentleman and Memory!

So glad that you love the album, my favs haven to be Dreams, Gentleman and Scenario but I love the entire album so much. I did my own listening party of their entire discography in 2020 when I started getting into them more and their songs were so good that it catapulted them to one of my favourite groups and they have held that ever since. Some of my favourite albums are Narcissus, 9loryUs, Turn Over and Rumination but I love the other so much too. Hopefully you'll check them out even if its in your own time, they are definitely worth the listen.

Also, just wanted to add, you have to check out Play Hard, its a bside from their Narcissus album and I kid you not, I almost fell out of my chair when i first heard that song. It is still one of my most listened to song. Just wanted to add that. Have a good day everyone :)

i hope you do check out First Collection and Turn Over in the future T_T Their b-sides are super amazing. "My Story, My Song" is one of my favorite song by them and I will always put on repeat when it comes on my playlist. It is from their 9loryUs EP.

Inseong has easily one of the best voices in K-Pop! The power and strength he projects is amazing. I’m surprised it’s not highlighted as much in their title tracks!

As a casual sf9 fan I have to say this is one of the best albums released in 2021. I've been getting more into the since Kingdom and I have to say I'm extremely impressed. They have definitely improved the most since Kingdom and I think they learned the most from that experience. I absolutely love this whole album especially Dreams and Gentlemen. Dreams could have been the title track and I wouldn't have given it a second thought! Trauma is so good to though. Tear Drop is still my favorite SF9 song. I keep listening to sf9 playlists at work now and I gotta say their music is top notch and so experimental and unique just to them. I love it theyre quickly moving up to becoming in my top groups!

I love gentleman that’s my favorite song of this ep. It’s so good . I notice that Zuho rapping were he says “ I’m male version of Venus “ is also in kindgom performance of Move . I love how they added to trauma . And I really ep all together. And I think song you were about you heard before is called go higher.

I'm still a pretty new sf9 fan so I'm still discovering their discography but this album is AMAZING. I'm so glad I pre-ordered it because it's a no-skip album. My personal fave song is Gentleman. Also recommend checking out Special History Book (it has my number 1 fave sf9 song "Love No.5" in it) and also Sensuous (which has my fave title track "Now or Never").

2023-01-05 21:53:51 lol finally figured out how to use the password, but honestly you picked one of their best albums to do a listening party to, and i do hope u listen to more (cant find if you did for the wave of9) especially some older ones. sf9 has been my ults since easy love, and honestly what sold me was their handfuls of extraordinary bsides. they have a huge discography and some songs kinda mash together (lowkey i just forget names) but all are honestly so well produced and they know how to write different songs w diff genres that all just fit my taste so well. memory and on and on are mellow songs i would probably dislike from other groups but there are truly my favorite kpop songs ever. 2021 was really their year i thought rumination would be bad since they hella rushed to put it out b4 youngbin &amp; inseong enlisted but it was just soooo good! turn over is also soo good and i recommend u listen to that album! my other fav albums are breaking sensation, burning sensation, narcissus &amp; 9loryus if u ever want to just listen to more sf9 bsides!!
