Honestly concerning Eunyu, I hated her at first like so damn much, I couldn't sant her evrytime she was on screen but all of a sudden she became one of my favorite in just one episode because she was the only one who was concerned about Hyunsu (like yeah okay she has a crush but still, she at least ask him what's wrong, not like the others) but also because she was rude but it felt like she doesn't know how to politely communicate (she's also a orphan teenager whose dream got crushed living in a trash building so I can't blame her for being rude). Honestly idk how my hatred for her turned into love but it just happened and I'm not complaining. For me, the show being apocalyptic is just a way to set the plot, like as you can see, the show start to focus less on the monsters in the latest episode and focus more on humans, both because there have obviously neutralized a lot of them so it's safer but also because humans are monsters as well like what Hyunsu's flashback showed. He was bullied just because the sky was clear, the bully had no other reason than just his will to bully him. Just like how some people are evil for no "good" reason, they just want to do things and don't care if it's bad or dangerous. I don't know if you connected the dots but the gangster stopped smoking because the nurse has asthma, he doesn't want to harm her but he also want to respect her by taking care of his lungs (that's how I understood it). About the convenience store lady, she hurts me so bad every time I watch her scene with Hyunsu, how she empathize and apologize for being a "bad adult" gets me every single time. BTW it's the third or fourth time that I watch Sweet Home so I know a lot of it, I had the time to digest and analyse everything

A very good episode to follow a very disappointing one. I think this show has major pacing and tone issues, and that's probably my only real problem with this show, but it's a glaring issue. I definitely agree that it's a runtime issue, much like imitation had the same issue. I find it very poetic that he died with his sword in his hand to the last moment after how much importance they placed on him picking the knife. I really appreciated his role on the show improving several of the broken characters while coming to grasp with his own shortcomings and desires. Also yeah you can really see Eun-hyuk struggling with his first real kill. Like he's cold and calculating, but he's also human, and it's great to finally see that more emotional side of him. I'm really starting to like Eun-yu, I mentioned it a few episodes back, but I think she's a really good foil for not only Hyun-su but several of the other hero characters on the show. She might not be doing things to help a lot of the times, but her attitude is kind of conditioning some of the other characters to either be more bold (in Hyun-su's case) or to be a better role model for her (her brother and gangster Sang-wook to an extent, though that one might be a reach lol). She's connected to all of the emotional drama, even if she's not involved in any of the action drama.

also anyone find it as funny that Lee Dohyeon and Go Minsi are the same age with how distant their characters feel in age? Song Kang is older than both of them too

It's funny but watching Sweet Home after thirsting over Song Kang in Nevertheless feels kind of weird. I never saw Hyunsu as a Guy, more of a Puppy but now all my Brain thinks of when I see Song Kang are Borderline pornographic sex scenes which... Feels so inappropriate when it's HYUNSU I'm looking at!

Meruka Hinaru

That just shows how great of an actor Song Kang is at portraying different characters hahaha If you compare his characters in Sweet Home, Navillera, Nevertheless and Love Alarm, all of them are like VERY DIFFERENT, when I watch a new drama of his, I have to rewire my brain again haha

Agreed on the pacing of this show being a huge issue. I think they tried to cram too much into too few episodes.

i hate that they played that stupid song when he died lol, he deserved better
