I just realized Kang Yohan's name is a Korean version of Johan/Johanan/John etc and the wheelchair girl's name is Elijah, so both of their names are biblical, which is interesting in the context of him being the devil judge

To be honest I was a huge Yohan simp from the beginning of this series and had blind faith in the man that there was something more to his plans. So, while I was intrigued and wanted more information about his past after the convo with the nanny and Jinyoung I wasn't convinced that Yohan was as evil as the show was trying to make him out to be. Sunah (irritating voice lady) annoyed me from the beginning and I have no idea why, but watching you guys I think I get why she rubbed me the wrong way. She is a very interesting character though!!! Also, random side note. Yohan's right hand man that was in the scene where he beat up bomb guy is never officially given a name during the series. But he's listed on websites just as "K" so that's what the fandom calls him. He has a multitude of nicknames though. I personally called him Shadow Lurker for the majority of the series. Just in case you guys ever need something to call him (because you will never get clarification lmao). Excited to see how you guys feel going forward!! It definitely will deal with the concept of Gaon and Yohan being two sides of the same coin!!

Isn't that the house from It's Okay To Not Be Okay? Also I'm watching this show for the second time and I can say I definitely missed some stuff the first view through. But something I notice more during the second viewing is how much Yohan genially cares for Gaon.

When I first saw this episode, I was so freaked out when I realized the Isaac/Gaon connection because my responses to Yohan/Gaon to that point were mostly "intriguing" and "uuuh... Kinky 🤣". When I saw young Isaac though and he wasn't played by Jinyoung I got over it again pretty quickly 😉

You know, between the Biblical references and Yohan's actions, I'm wondering... Is he essentially supposed to be the Antichrist? Especially the scene where he apparently drives a maid to suicide - that's literally what Damien Thorn does in The Omen. Maybe it's just me, but with his name and his general behaviour, Yohan also reminded me of someone else... And I finally realized who it was - Johan Liebert from Monster. They're both very intelligent and charismatic, but they use their charm to manipulate people and sow destruction, without - as far as I know - any concrete ideology or ideal as an end goal. It's been ages since I watched Monster and I'm no expert on Christian eschatology, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. But I think Yohan is a real villain masquerading as an antiheroes.

I also figured there was more going on with Annoying Voice Lady than we saw so far, but that whole massage scene was unexpected. Homegirl invited herself to the President of South Korea's bedroom so she could literally step on him... She clearly has a very deep and emotionally charged agenda going on, and I look forward to seeing her play a bigger part in the next episodes.
