Question: Netflix translates Jagiya to Babe, I translate it more like Honey or Darling. What would you say is the right way to translate it into English?

If you guys search for the character design of the manhwa/webtoon of the cast you would be so surprise how they nailed the real life casting for the twins, pervert, dead former babe, the old lady, and our new babe. Noticed how I didn't add Lee Dong Wook? It's all because his character didn't exist on the original manhwa. Yes, thats right. His character was invented solely for the drama and was not featured in the original webtoon. The main antagonist was supposed to be the dead former babe if they followed the original plotline. So it was a surprise to everyone when he was killed off because they thought that Lee Dong Wook is added to be a help to the new guy when the article was released that he's going to play a new character... because like what I said, the man radiates good guy energy that everyone kinda presumed. It was a genius move. 😭😭😭😭😭

NTR, the biggest horror o them all.

moonjo really saw jongwoo and went 'gaslight, gatekeep, girlboss'

Amanda Araujo

yeah the twins and the other guy are so freaking creepy that i dont even care if they die and it's so hard for me too have to watch everything kingwood is going through because of those people man, i really hope the cop will find everything out

Honey/Darling is correct, yes. Jagiya is an old fashioned term of affection, typically between husbands and wives. It's also a bit more romantic too. Also, you would not typically hear young couples say "jagiya", it's more common amongst older couples. Babe would be more like "oppa".

WHAT THE FUCK? There's a lot of debate over adapting source material, what do you keep and what do you change. It's always such a risk when you change a CORE story or character line, and usually BAD (ie. Light in the American Netflix changing him from a star golden boy to an emo goth kid). But THIS? While I haven't read the original webtoon, that sounds like a BRILLIANT plot twist and an added surprise and gift for fans of the original webtoon.

LMFAO. DON'T MENTION NTR. I ACCIDENTALLY DISCOVERED NTR A LONG LONG LONG LONG TIME AGO AND IT ACTUALLY MADE ME CRY.

Once you finish the series, you should definitely check out the behind the scenes of this show. It is so strange to see the terrifying characters in the drama, and then see them all acting all friendly while filming.

Honestly, Im Si Hwan is fantastic in this drama but the unsung heroes are the creeps. They’re so good and believable I can’t even imagine them being friendly or leading normal lives. While it sounds insulting to the actors I mean it def as a compliment to how GOOD this acting is.

The guy who played the pervert with the glasses is also in the drama The Zombie Detective, and he plays a comedic character in that show.

Man I really liked Jongwoo's girlfriend in the beginning but the fact that she's not taking him serious at all and not tries listening to him makes me so angry. Why is she only saying he's too sensitive?

Melody

It’s not going to get any better, but the brilliance in this isn’t that you get scared but how this show gets under your skin and makes you feel increasingly stressed and like you are going crazy yourself. Uncomfortable yes, brilliant yes.

Jongwoo's developing honesty is also funny (not really) when you remember what Moonjo said to him at the rooftop after Jongwoo's drunken rant at the goshiwon residents: that he likes it more when Jongwoo is honest and just says and does what he wants instead of bottling it up

sandra

this was such an interesting and well done episode to me. you could really see jongwoo's character shifting and starting to act more and more like the other residents, he's starting to creep me out as well now

brianna a

wait I figured it out, she's the chick from the day6 school trilogy MVs!!!! the main love interest girl (from What Can I Do, I Loved You and When You Love Someone) someone else probably already said it, but it was bothering me to try to figure it out hahah I knew she was from day6 MVs but I confused her with the Congratulations girl
