ok so I'm just going to leave my theory here before i jump into the next episode.. I feel like firefighter woman was poisoned by the spider thing? Or she's infected. Either way I think the phone call was an hallucination. And I'm slightly worried that she is in fact not pregnant but rather got a little present from the spider. I really hope I'm wrong.. O_o

there was a clip a couple episodes ago of eun hyuk briefly seeing the spider monster in the basement surveillance cameras. the camera was turned at a weird angle but obviously since it's a spider it can crawl on the ceilings and shit lol. i think si young caught on to this because he kind of really emphasized her staying safe before he sent her down there. also hyun su was knocked down the stairs by a monster. they showed it in the background before it attacked and then you could kind of see it when it eventually pounced.

either episode 3 or 2 (whichever episode she went down to the basement in) it shows him looking at the security camera footage before she went down (she was looking at the footage but didn't pick up on it) and after (just him looking at the footage) and the security camera showed the legs of the monster. so he did know about it.

Yeah, sometimes the drama feels a bit fast when you would think more time would be spent in some scenes. An unfortunate result of having to adapt 141ish episodes/chapters into 10 episodes. It's also too bad the monsters weren't integrated well into the final production of the show because the designs are sick af
