In my opinion, I think rather than the monsters being scary and this show being scary, its more gruesome and gross with the blood and makes me grimace in disgust. And I also agree with how this show is lowkey kinda cheesy and stuff but I always just wrote that off as Sweet Home being a popular manga turned show and stuff like that always has a cringe-worthy charm lol. On one hand, it's a nice difference from a regular kdrama but on the other hand, the pacing is a little weird as the show progresses. With that being said, I did really enjoy this show and it was recently announced that they've started production for season 2 so I'm excited for that!

Okay I watched this entire show on CHRISTMAS EVE last year, might honestly be my most favorite Korean tv show of all time tbh. I find it incredible and so interesting in its world building along with the growth/development of the characters. I love love love this show!!!! So excited to be rewatching it for the 6th time with y'all! 🥰

Actually Vincenzo and Itaewon Class are netflix originals! There's 2 ways I have learn to tell(comment if I'm wrong guys) but one they'll have the little red N in the top left corner when you're looking on the homepage and two they'll have the netflix intro on each episode where like hotel del Luna does not

I think Netflix just put their logo on those two series because Itaewon Class is by JTBC and Vincenzo is by tvN

they are not. Netflix was just able to license them and air them at the same time as they aired on the Korean Network, like It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, Crash Landing on You, and Hospital Playlist all aired on Netflix weekly. while shows like Sweet Home, D.P, Kingdom, Extracurricular, Move to Heaven, Squid Game…etc. are all Netflix Originals and they aired all the episodes at once. I think Hotel Del Luna doesn’t have the logo bc it’s an older show that was not licensed to Netflix to air weekly, they just got the streaming rights afterwords to have it on their service.

See I really love the grunginess/cheapness of the monsters and the so/so CGI. I feel like it's a sort of aesthetic look and that if the monster and CGI were high scale that it would negatively impact the look of the show.

it’s ok! I think they solely have the rights to stream that’s why it’s in that section. there’s actually not that many Netflix originals at the moment but it seems, at least until Feb, 1 new original drama a month is coming, so plenty more is on the way.

I really enjoyed him in "18 Again" as well, which is more of a heart-warming drama, sprinkled with humor. Really uplifting and relaxing.

The ballet/rebel girl you guys recognized (Go Minsi I think?) reminds me a lot of both Kang Hyewon and Solar for some reason. She's very pretty! Also I am in LOVE with rocker girl Park Gyu-young I didn't know I needed her in a role like this until I saw her.
