Sadly, I think this is no longer available and was affected with the whole Videos getting deleted incident. I watch this reaction from time to time and also realized weeks ago that this got deleted

BlooAS

Finally, the bangers that are RCPC b-sides!

Layman's Outlook

Yes welcome to woollim heaven. Rocket punch discography is top tier. You should also check out Golden Childs as well if you ever have the time.

Donslaught

Oh man, I am so ready. Lilac (다시, 붐) was one of my favorite b-sides ever

Marcake

ahhh yes. I see you've finally reached enlightenment

Anonymous

lilac is sooo good i love it sooo much ahhh

Jack F

So glad you did this PD, RCPC is one of my favs and their discography is a big reason why I love them. The standouts for me are Ride, Twinkle Star and basically the entire Red Punch EP. Lilac is up there for me as one of my favorite kpop songs ever, it just hits different.

Justin Lee

It might be woollim thing but it is not hard to find stage for their B-sides. Other groups from woollim have choreography for most of their b-side so if they don't have it now, they will by their first concert.

Thomas

I have been a tentative fan since their debut but I didn't check out every song until Ring Ring came out. I particularly love Ride because I feel like I can picture Hall & Oates producing it. Rocket Punch does a great job at making me feel things that LOONA music does. I'm so happy you checked out these songs.

MF

Finally my prayers have been answered and PD has heard Love is over and So Solo! Looking forward to So Solo stage reactions, I love the choreo! Love is over also has performances btw

So much to unpack in this listening party! First of all thank you for listening to all their albums...I know in the end it was a lot but now you see why it was hard to recommend only one album. Also, since you like their intros actually from Infinite to Drippin is Woollim's tradition to have intros for all of their artist's albums till this day just excluding in single albums like Ring Ring. So if you ever decide to do a listening party for Golden Child too (they have a comeback soon...August 2nd with a full album *wink wink*) be ready for more epic intros. The girl you mentioned you liked the voice in the ballad in Pink Punch was Suyun! She is also my favorite voice in Rocket Punch and also a fun fact: she wasn't really focused in being a vocalist when she joined Woollim...she was more of a dancer (and she still is one of their best dancers too) but after receiving negative feedback in monthly evalutations she started focusing more in her vocals than her dancing. And it may seem that Rocket Punch debuted a long time ago but Pink Punch was released in August 2019 so their 2nd year anniversary is actually next month and they are still considered rookies in a way. Overall I agree that even though Pink Punch is great for a debut it's my least favorite album and the one that I replay the least because I REALLY love Red Punch's and Blue Punch's b-sides specially So Solo and The The. And yes, there are some live stages for So Solo since it was the b-side they promoted in music shows together with Bouncy. Also I know a lot of people were disappointed with Juicy so that's probably why maybe a lot of people don't recommend Blue Punch that much but it is a great summer album. I'm actually curious what they they will do for their next release. Their theme till now with the "color punch" album series was to match the vibe of the songs with the color of the album...probably that's why you felt more attitude and confidence from the red album and the summery vibes from the blue one. And with Ring Ring they decided to tackle a genre (newtro/retro) and do the songs in that genre. So I'm interested to see if they will continue with the color punch series after ring ring or they will do something different for their next release.

This was my first time listening to any b sides from RP, very pleasantly surprised and very upset I haven’t been privy to them before this reaction lol. I think we had the same consensus on what songs were our favorites from each. Currently giving their discography another complete listen on my own to solidify my opinions. I think Ride is my current favorite so far

everett

i have more to say but twinkle star always sounded like a fiesta by iz*one + bad girl by woo!ah! lovechild to me! definitely a song iz*one could have done but overall i've only heard a handful of rcpc bsides before this (so solo, girlfriend, twinkle star and the stuff off of the ring ring single) so listening to them through now i'm so sad i hadn't checked them out sooner!!! i came out of this reaction adding almost every one of these songs to my playlist. they are so crazy for constantly releasing bangers. i hope their next comeback is another mini album (maybe even a full album?!) bc i just can't get enough!

DAI

I have been waiting for thiussssssssssssssss ever since you reacted their performance relay video and you found out this amazing song called "So Solo". You reacted "wTF!! I gotta listen to their B-side" and then it never happened... until now! Edit: it's so funny that you are doing the exact same reaction as you did before for the "So Solo" in this video lol. They even used the same lighting setup you just described, lighting off and purple background! https://www.patreon.com/posts/knock-knock-36855221

fei

Red Punch intro sounds like a song that you perform for an intro performance in queendom/kingdom imo

DAI

So, btw, Rocket Punch have more than 1 song for each EP with the stage performances. They usually do their comeback with their title track "and" their second track. For "Pink Punch", there are "BIM BAM BUM" and "Love Is Over". For "Red Punch", there are "BOUNCY" and "So Solo". For "Blue Punch", there are "JUICY" and "Twinkle Star". For "Ring Ring", there are "Ring Ring" and "Ride". Additionally, they made performance video on their YT channel for "THE THE" from "Blue Punch" as well.

starspal

omg i only skimmed thru the red punch ep when it came out so its basically my first time listening to it ..... my brain is going to explode this is TOO GOOD

Marcel

Lilac is a masterpiece. Its too much pop to be a ballad but too much ballad to be pop. And Suyuns voice on that song is just magnificent. AND topping it off with Girlfriend being the next song is just...they knew what they were doing. When RP debuted I liked them but I didnt expect them to be in my top5 girlgroups but after Red Punch look at where we are now

Donslaught

Rocket Punch was the first group debut I found on my own after being introduced to kpop, so they'll always be special to me. Watching someone else experience them for the first time was amazing. These girls deserve all the success.

I must have been in a weird mood when I first listened to Red Punch and didn't immediately put down my order. This will be fixed now.

Cedkent10

I listened to them a lot, but I forgot how epic the red punch mini album was

Malaki.H

Twinkle star also reminds me of a gwsn song

KRH

Very nice, I loved this, you're a great content curator! Take special notice of Yunkyoung's voice during your live stage reactions, her recording vocal and live vocal are so similar its uncanny. She might not sound as earnest and flashy as Suyun, but she is a fantastic performer.

Actually started this video because I needed some music to my work and I kept getting distracted because the music was so good! First time listening, I think my favorite is Lilac, but The The and So Solo are also pretty good! Their title tracks weren't super appealing to me (just personal taste), but the b-sides are solid!

Kim Chi

woolim never disappoints with their groups' intros! also thank you for checking out all of rcpc's eps and singles

Donslaught

Also, if anyone hasn't watched this yet and is a fan of PD's "I'm disgusted with how good this is" face, this is the video for you.

Upshot

Thank you for this! Their b-sides are so good! I think my favourites are Lilac, Fireworks, So Solo, Girlfriend, The The, Love is over… And yes for more Punch Time!

mel

Lilac is the biggest tease, I swear

Thildia

I had never listened to Rocket Punch beyond some titles tracks and god has this made me a stan

Cédric

Love their intro, wish would've added some parts to a song, Ride reminded me of LADIDA by everglow, they should made the chorus more "punchy" and "hittin', like making them jump an octave or something.
