Taemin is who brought me into the kpop world. I think I will always have a bit of a bias for his work but he also just makes such good freaking music so I feel justified.

Thank you for reacting to Taemin’s album PD! My favorite track would be Strings and yess I can totally imagine Key in Light. Also I think Key is having a solo comeback in July :)

Taemin is so young to have accomplished so much. Those crazy notes and the control required is amazing. I agree with you, he is s tier level right now, so he can definitely be more experimental and different with his music

My epic taemin moment was when he mixes “Danger” and “Sherlock” for his live concert. Taemin will be following key’s foot steps in military band and Nov 2022 will come in a flash lol

Super glad you checked this out! Honestly, even if it's a song I usually wouldn't like that much, Taemin's voice always draws me in and makes the song interesting and engaging to listen to. SAD KIDS was cool because it reminded me a lot of 2 KIDS with it's expansive/free/youthful atmosphere and soundscape (idk how else to put it), so it works really well as a continuation while also being different. If you liked this EP, you might also wanna check out the WANT mini album and Never Gonna Dance Again: Act 1 (the album Criminal is on). Those are my two favorites from Taemin, and they both have some super interesting songs on them (Shadow, Strangers, Black Rose (which also has a really good stage), etc... they're all really good).

As people are mentioning SAD KIDS it's a continuation of 2 KIDS. Listening to both songs, one after the other it's GOLD.

Honestly when I heard Light I also thought of Key as the voice that would go well with Light. The song really reminds me of Key’s song song Born to Shine; I feel like both songs have a certain aesthetic to them.

I like the album, but it's not as good as either part of Never Gonna Dance Again IMO. I think I'm the only one who preferred Part 1 to Part 2, but both are FANTASTIC. Hopefully they'll be added to your listening party roster some day.

PLEASE PD YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO HIS NEVER GONNA DANCE AGAIN ALBUM, PART I AND II IS SO GOOD AND I KNOW YOU WILL LOVE MANY OF THE SONGS! PLEASE GIVE IT A TRY 😭😭😭
